Wow, I only can say I have tried so many desserts in Korea (Seoul and Busan), this place has to be the no.1 favourite in my heart. Not difficult to find, though its a long walk along Samcheong-ro to arrive at the little humble shop. It is run by a small nice and friendly family serving very traditional desserts, and I came on a slightly chilly day where it serves only hot desserts which was good to give myself a little warmth. Order the Danpatjuk and the Saenggang Daechu Cha. Loved both of it, they tasted so good. I can only say the Danpatjuk was so memorable I kinda regretted for not returning to try again before I left Seoul. Heard this place is quite famous for the traditional desserts, the place is small and quite packed when I arrived, I got the last available table. Highly recommended and really will return again for the desserts if I were to visit Seoul again. Can't...

Oct 2, 2024 Danpatjuk was always good, Sujeong-gwa served cold it gose good together with Danpatjuk.

Oct 11, 2022, Shikhye (Korean rice dessert) is good and Ssanghwa tea ( Korean herb tea) have a strong herb taste.

Sep 28, 2022, 수정과 Sujeong-gwa was great , it is ginger and cinnamon cold drink, it spicy from ginger soke with soft persimmon and sprinkle with pine nuts.

Sep, 2 2022, The atmosphere here make me feel like an old day store (grandma period) a lot of customers are mid to senior ages. The sweet red bean porridge (Danpatjuk 단팥죽) look beautiful tasty but a bit too sweet for me but overall is great I really enjoy it with a hot tea will be wonderful. No...

This is one of the oldest Naeng Myun places in South Korea specializing Ham Heung style. We went Sunday around 1 PM and there were about 20 people ahead of us. But we got seated within 10 minutes as this places turn over is really fast. We ordered Ham Heung Nawng Myun and broiled brisket and both were very delicious as it was. Parking is a bit challenge but they have parking attendants to guide drivers to go to the nearby public parking lot. Useful tip, if you order Mool Naeng Myun, you can order extra broth. They only provide radish pickle as a side dish and hot beef broth as a drink, which...

Small teahouse specializing in Danpatjuk (sweet red bean porridge). Apart from that, the menu is small and simple as there are only four kinds of traditional Korean drinks. The beverages are the Korean fermented rice drink Sikhye (식혜), ginger and jujube tea (생강대추차), cinnamon punch (수정과) and Ssanghwatang (쌍화탕). They are all priced about the same (7000 KRW). The place has operated for decades and is famous, so there can be lines of waiting costumers on the weekend. The sweet red bean soup here is garnished generously and a must-try for red bean fans. Old-fashioned but authentic.
