Sunnam Siraegi Samcheong — Restaurant in Seoul

It’s a nice cozy restaurant built out of a traditional Korean house that serves great meal at an affordable price. Unfortunately, it’s a bit difficult to find parking but it’s a great trade off for what you’re getting.

Their signature dish is called a siraegi soup, like the name suggests. Siraegi is the plant part of a radish that is normally thrown out, but it makes for an amazing soup stock. They also throw in a lot of ground perilla to add to the richness and the savouriness of the soup. I recommend that you order one of the soups.

Their mook bibimbap is also a great choice if you’re not feeling soupy. Mook is a savoury acorn jelly with a soy-based marinade that pairs amazingly with rice and lettuce.

They also have self-serve unlimited banchan (side dishes), which also is a huge plus.
