Starbucks Dongdaemun Doota — Restaurant in Seoul

Absolutely rudest staff id ever experienced in my life. We ordered our drinks to have in, got given them to go in plastic cups, sat down and was almost finished when a girl came over and started talking to us in korean. I said I’m sorry i don’t understand, she proceeds to ask if i understand English (like really). Then she proceeded to tell me it is illegal to drink from plastic cups in stores in Korea (sure no problems but perhaps if they hadn’t got our order wrong it wouldnt be a problem in the first place and we werent told about the no dine innplastic cups) so i said ok sure we’re finished anyway and she replied with so are you going to leave now, bye bye and walked...

10th May 2023 Hi, I am a customer at Starbucks Doota Mall outlet (Seoul Korea). On 10th May 2023, about 1400 hrs, I have bought a cup of coffee and seated in one of the indoor table. About 10 minutes later, a lady staff (Annie) & a FAT LADY MANAGER came and ask me to leave. I have been patronising Starbucks all over the world, this is the WORST SERVICE OF ALL, DO NOT COME HERE!

13th May 2023 Hi Everyone, further to my earlier post.

After numerous emails to the Korean's authorities. An officer replied saying the reason Starbucks chased me out is because the Korean authority has banned the use of disposable products and I am given a disposable cup by Starbucks.

This really makes me very puzzled! Who is actually committing an offense, Starbucks or me? Isn't it right that Starbucks should be brought to justice? Whether I am seated in their outlet or not has got nothing to do with this.

Isn't this logical enough? I am sure, any 10 year old child could reason...

It's yours typical starbucks, but I especially have this a 3 star (compared to other starbucks) because it's very crowded and less seating overall. Don't come here if you're intentionally trying to do work, read a book. There is however a really nice balcony that overlooks the ddp, but those seats usually...
