BLT Steak — Restaurant in Seoul

My husband, daughter and I came here for dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday. When we booked online through Catch Table, we had to pay a deposit of KRW50,000 each but this was offset the total of the bill at the end of the night. I have to say the food and service were exceptional. We ordered the 360g Rib-eye steak to share with my daughter and my husband had the tenderloin steak. These were cooked perfectly medium rare. We also ordered sides of grilled asparagus, french fries and mash potato. They offered us complimentary bread which, whilst was a huge serving, was incredibly delicious. We didn't have enough room for dessert, but they kindly brought me a plate of 3 flavoured gelatos to wish me a Happy Birthday. The waiters were friendly and efficient. Ambience was perfect with the right amount of volume from the music playing. We paid around KRW140,000 each. ...

On weekends, there are too many people in the Executive Lounge, so my choice is BLT Stake. It is my first time to visit there. The interior is luxurious and even though it is not directly managed by the property, the staffs and their services are very good and JW style.

The freshly baked bread is singnature one, very tasty, but I recommend not to eat too much at first! The various course menu is good enough to share, with reasonable price. Each dishes are well plated, served and delicious.

Ambience - Great. Lighting to furniture were warm and cosy. Seats were not too close to one another.

Service - Really good. Staffs were friendly, quick to response and were prompt about everything. However, they did missed out on my steak doneness when taking order. When asked to have it Medium Rare, they had it in medium well instead. Could have been a miscommunication or heard wrongly, but it was repeated twice. Rather disappointed in this.

Food - Appetiser tasting was not bad. Steak was good too but would have been better had it been in Medium Rare instead of Medium Well.

Regardless, it was an overall okay...
