SUPERPAN_seoul — Restaurant in Seoul

SuperPan, not a fine dining restaurant, is rather a bistro that pays homage to homemade style cuisine prepared with always-fresh seasonal ingredients. All menus are offered in such a way people can 'share,' which is the traditional way of experiencing Korean food culture.

It is always a pleasure experience to dine in SuperPan where environment is comforting and the staffs including the chef and the owner make us feel like at home.

Family owned restaurant run by a lovely couple who remind me of 'Tom and Jerry.' Very cute. Music is pretty chill and the word to describe the atmosphere is "industry-like" chic and cool.

I was very excited to come here because I had bought the Chef's cookbook in London - Anju&Banju - which is all about pairing natural wine with Korean food --- It did no disappoint at all! We went in early on a Saturday night without a reservation and got a seat straight away. A very atmospheric modern restaurant with lovely staff who were all super friendly and accommodating in speaking English to us. The food was exciting and delicious and paired great with the wine. Wine is expensive in Korea because of the import tax, but I was excited to try it with Korean food.
