Very impressive coffee shop within the POSCO Center.

This is a HUGE coffee shop and one of the most impressive coffee joints I've ever been to, anywhere.

Perhaps it's because it is located in the POSCO Center (POSCO is one of, if not, the biggest and most modern steel manufacturers in the world - #1 in terms of technology and production), the build material incorporates a lot of steel. There is the iconic, huge bookshelf backdrop behind the counter. In the center is a gargantuan stairway (mix of steps and seats) to the upper floor, where there are plenty of seats. During lunch hours, however, this place is packed, but thins out rather quickly.

Good assortment of pastries, cakes, scones, croissants, etc., as well as a diverse offering of coffee and tea, including hand dripped coffee.

Unlike most coffee shops that are small and "cozy," this place is like a modern museum. Well worth the look.

Highly...

this branch of Terarosa Coffee, one of the better coffee roastery chains in Korea, is located on the first floor at Posco Center. It shows off beautifully built (huge) interior space and an array of pastry and desert options. But please beware: this location is in the middle of the most crowded business districts in Seoul, hence it becomes extremely crowded during peak times. People usually wait 15-20 minutes (5 mins to order and 15 mins to pick up). Also during the peak time, it seems quality control does not really work. + Pastry (croissant) was soggy - it was a...

Forget the food or the fact that the baristas will make any coffee for you (an issue we’ve had the entire time we’ve been in Korea).

This cafe / bookstore is so cool. The industrial steel theme stems from the fact that it’s in Posco (a steel company surprise surprise). There’s a huge open stair case looking down to the bar. Behind the stairs at the top is a steel gallery, and behind the bar are the bookstore shelves.

Plenty of seating everywhere.

A great place to just sit down and take it all in, the hustle and bustle and energy of day-to-day...

I was here 3 days in a row during my stay in Korea... Perfect place to study/read, as many people were. Caffeine, great indoor temperature control, water, clean bathrooms, WiFi, power outlets and it's usually pretty quiet. Saw lots of people also leaving their laptops/belongings around while going to the bathroom/getting drinks. Latte - 5 stars Drip Panama Geisha - 4 stars I don't usually drink black coffee but enjoyed this. Decaf latte - 3 stars Bit bland. Pecan pie - 2 stars Dry and too sweet for me.
