From the very moment I arrived, my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Despite arriving well before the standard check-in time, I was graciously welcomed and directed to the gym and pool area, where I was offered access to a beautifully maintained shower facility. This thoughtful gesture allowed me to refresh and unwind after my journey, an early sign of the outstanding hospitality to come. The hotel’s facilities are nothing less than impressive. From a sleek and modern pilates studio to a dedicated golfing area and even a charming shoe shine booth, every detail exudes luxury and care. I was genuinely amazed by the level of convenience and thoughtfulness infused into every aspect of the property. A special mention goes to Mount Seo from the Front Office, who provided a warm welcome and a comprehensive overview of everything I needed to know. The check-in process was seamless and genuinely pleasant. To my surprise and delight, I was upgraded to a King Junior Suite, complete with curated amenities, a truly heartwarming gesture that set the tone for the rest of my stay. During my time at the hotel, I frequently enjoyed the Club Lounge access, where I was always greeted by the radiant Ruby, whose smile could brighten anyone’s day. Her attentiveness and willingness to help guests never went unnoticed, she truly made the lounge feel like a home away from home. The Concierge Team, especially Taylor and Gina, went above and beyond in planning my itinerary before my arrival. Their recommendations enriched my trip and helped me make the most of my time in the city. Meanwhile, the ever-diligent Sabahat Moon was a constant presence in the lobby, always attentive, always ready to assist, and always doing so with genuine warmth and efficiency. My departure was just as pleasant as my arrival, thanks to the lovely Julie from the Front Office, who handled my check-out with such grace and professionalism. In every corner, this hotel shines from its opulent amenities to its world-class team. Truly a Grand InterContinental experience in every sense. I cannot wait to return!

Words fall short when trying to convey our immense gratitude and affection for our experience at the Intercontinental Parnas Hotel in Seoul, Korea. They graciously upgraded us to a magnificent Ambassador suite, undoubtedly among the finest accommodations we've had the pleasure of staying in. The suite boasted a dining area capable of seating eight, with soaring ceilings that reached at least 16 feet, and wall-to-ceiling windows that added to its grandeur. Not to mention, the inclusion of a massage chair was a delightful touch. Another standout feature was the spacious bathtub equipped with a TV, elevating our relaxation experience. Uniquely, the suite offered a clothing heating and disinfecting unit within the closet area, a convenience not commonly found, which proved to be extremely useful for drying clothes or refreshing winter coats as needed. The ambiance of the room was perfectly enhanced by a sound system and a Jazz CD album provided by the hotel. Our affection for the CDs led us to inquire about purchasing it from the club lounge team. In an unexpected gesture of kindness, they informed us it was not for sale and out of stock, but the housekeeping manager generously offered us to keep the CD as a gift. This thoughtful act truly impressed us. Our affection for the Intercontinental Hotels and the IHG program has only deepened following our exceptional stays in Seoul and recently in Paris, solidifying our admiration for their unparalleled luxury service. Dean and Jason from the club lounge truly went above and beyond by personally searched the restaurants and jazz clubs we found online that matched our tastes. Their promptness and hospitality enriched our experience, showcasing their exceptional service and deep local insights.

Redeemed 1-night using my points cos of the reviews and left feeling underwhelmed. Maybe I was staying for one-night and there wasn’t anything that stood out. The staff that made our stay was Mr. Andrew Yoon - who was so kind and considerate. We arrived at 11am and informed to return near check-in time while we stored our luggage. When we returned around 2.30pm, the room wasn’t ready and there wasn’t a note left to indicate that we did arrive earlier. Mr. Yoon offered another room with a restricted view if we were too tired, however we decided to stick with our selection. He gave us welcome drink vouchers and we check-in around 4-5pm, where another staff handed the keys nonchalantly. So service differs from each staff. The staff in the morning mentioned that there will be birthday cake delivered but it was forgotten. When we called and asked for it, there was no apology given and the cake came in a takeaway box. The room doesn’t feel like 40sqm and comes with the regular 5-star amenities that you may need. The amenities from Byredo had a strong smell (more like a perfume for guys) instead of a relaxing or a calming scent. The positive pointers are that the lift automatically activates the floor level for you when tap your card and it is directly connected to COEX mall. Maybe I was expecting too much as the usual 5-star hotels would do much more in terms of presentation and communication. And for the pricing of $400-$600 per night.. nothing really stood out to us.

Paid way more than I would've at Intercontinental Coex (where I usually stay). However, I wanted to try Grand Parnas so stayed here for 2 night for my birthday visit.

Arrival was fine. They gave me a cake for my birthday - very nice. They also had wine & tiny snacks. Room was spacious and nice (but did not expect less since I was paying A LOT!).

My disappointment was in the overall staff attitude. I had read elsewhere already so was not to surprised but definitely was hoping those reviewers were just upset about something and hence we being negative. But everything I read was true. Listing just a few.

When I called to ask if I could have tea to go since I won't make tea time, I was told straight out "sorry our policy doesn't allow this". I asked if I could take a water bottle from the lounge, I was told "not allowed to take it out of the lounge" BUT, why? I saw non-lounge customers getting the same water bottle from the concierge - so not like it's a different specially marked bottles.

I felt extremely sick 2nd night of stay from some kind of food poisoning and hence called down to ask if they had some kind of meds to help. I was told "sorry. But there is a store here you can come down & buy something but can't guarantee. And, if not, you can take cab to a 24hr pharmacy that is about 10mins away.

But I just told you I have to stay close to the bathroom and I am super weak & dehydrated. Still nothing. At the Intercontinental I stayed in Kota Kinabalu, a friend had major food poisoning and they sent a doctor to her room! I didn't expect this, but was hoping they could at least send up someone to help purchase the meds or something rather than sorry you will need to go get it yourself.

On first day of check in, I called down to ask for extra bubble bath pack since there was only 1, and I had booked the room for 2. I was told, sorry. you will have to pay for 2nd pack. I said but my room is for 2, and I'm staying 2 nights. You only provide 1 to share? The answer was sorry. We can charge your room $5000 won and send another pack up. I guess they are suggesting you bath together.

I asked the Club Lounge staff about my baggage help since I had difficulty finding the hotel when I arrived at the bus terminal near the hotel. I asked if I could get help to get back to the terminal on my day of check out so I can catch my flight and didn't think I could manage my bags myself esp now that I am super weak and unwell. The answer was, sorry, that's the nearest bus stop and it's an easy walk. YOU SHOULD be able to do.

I do want to call out 1 person at Concierge though. I forget his name now (in the state that I was!). On the day that I had to leave, I managed to drag my bags from my room & down to the lobby but ended up leaving them by the elevator & just going to concierge to ask for help - and he found my bags loaded them and actually walked me to the terminal. As he was so familiar with the area, it was such a short cut compared to when I first arrived & tried to find the hotel entrance. The other staff members could have provided this info the 2 other times I asked & my view might have been different. - or at least a map?

He was so kind & even helped me with the kiosk to purchase the bus ticket, loaded my bag onto one of the carts there, so I won't have to try to drag that to the bus. He also told me the driver will come out & you can ask him to help. They will load it on the bus for you, etc. HE was indeed amazing. And I told him so. I told him, he was the only one at the Grand that deserved to be at such a hotel. Everyone else needed more customer service training.

In conclusion. Intercontinental Coex has much better customer service, much better view, much better pricing, and much better staff. Everyone at Coex are friendly, accommodating and will try what they can to make your stay comfy. Unlike the Grand - they say call if you need anything else, but when you do, they tell you no, you should just be satisfied with what you have regardless of how much you paid for your stay! Super...

My stay at the InterContinental Grand Seoul Parnas, beginning on January 12, 2025, was truly exceptional and deserves the highest praise. Every element of the experience was thoughtfully curated, showcasing impeccable service, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to guest satisfaction.

The Club InterContinental Lounge staff stood out as the epitome of hospitality. They were attentive, professional, and always anticipated my needs with a smile. Whether it was the seamless check-in process or the personalized recommendations, their service elevated my stay. The food offerings in the Club Lounge were nothing short of spectacular, with an impressive variety of fresh, flavorful dishes that catered to all tastes. Each meal felt like a culinary experience, perfect for winding down after a busy day.

The conference room available to club floor guests was a game-changer for me as a business traveler. It provided a private, well-equipped space for meetings, complete with modern amenities and a serene atmosphere. Having access to this resource added immense value and convenience to my trip.

The concierge and bellmen were also exemplary. The concierge team was incredibly knowledgeable and went out of their way to help coordinate my plans, while the bellmen handled my luggage with care and efficiency, always offering a warm greeting upon arrival and departure.

I must also commend the front desk team, who provided top-notch service and swiftly resolved an issue with my invoice. Their professionalism and dedication to ensuring a smooth checkout process left a lasting impression.

As a frequent business traveler, the Grand Seoul Parnas is unmatched in delivering outstanding value. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds that guarantee restful sleep. The location in the heart of Seoul makes it convenient for both business and leisure activities, allowing me to balance work and relaxation effortlessly.

In every way, this hotel exceeds expectations, blending luxury, functionality, and warmth. I can confidently say that the InterContinental Grand Seoul Parnas is my top choice in Seoul, and I look forward to returning for another...
