The Original Pancake House Garosugil — Restaurant in Seoul

This is an Orange County Landmark and this a review from an Orange County visitor, so I hope readers and owners alike can take this to heart.

YOU HA E TO LEARN YO MAKE THE DITCH BABY THE CORRECT WAY!

I have ordered this flagship item a hundred times at all the locations, and SKorea is a big miss! First, I was shocked to see the plate arrived with whipped cream and 1 lemon wedge. Waaait... where is the powdered sugar?? This pancaked REQUIRES powdered sugar! I asked the server for more lemons. She nodded but took my 1 lemon wedge in a small cup away, and came back with a small cup filled with liquid ---so they squeezed my lemons?!?! I ended up cutting pancake pieces and dipping it into the cup, lol Still with no sugar.

Second, this pancake is supposed to be thin on the edges to a crisp. Here, they cook a thick flat cake, over 1cm all the way around!! More is Not better here, people!

I give credit to the nice thick crispy bacon! Just like the one...

It was a lot food for a reasonable price. Pancakes tasted really good. Maple syrup and chocolate sauce were both adequate.

Milkshake and coffee were good. Food was ready quickly. Place was busy while we were there but the staff was quick and very helpful.

They double checked the order and also made sure we were billed correctly.

I understand what it’s going for, but it’s not worth it. There are plenty of other American style breakfast spots in Seoul that’s higher quality. Just because you drench everything in butter and maple syrup doesn’t mean the food tastes good. Everything is soggy (probably because it’s so oily), and lacks flavor, except salt and sugar. As for the restaurant, tables are so clustered together you feel like you’re listening to other people’s conversations.
