Upper and Under — Restaurant in Seoul

Upper and Under was a real surprise in the best way. Tucked away and not overly flashy it delivered way more than expected. The flavors were rich balanced and clearly made with care. Every bite felt thoughtful and satisfying from presentation to taste. The vibe inside was modern but warm with just the right kind of music and lighting to make you want to stay longer. Service was attentive without being too much and everything moved smoothly. It felt like one of those rare places where you walk in with no expectations and leave genuinely impressed. Love this place! The pastries are a festive to the eyes. Funny problem for me was that the Korean cashier couldn't understand my english pronunciation of Einspanner 😆 good thing an english speaking colleague was right by his side to clarify.

Standard flat white but they don't have oat milk.

Seems like most people come here to talk and hangout instead of studying / working, so it's pretty loud. The tables are a little small and the seats are pretty close to each other. Also the WiFi didn't work for some reason. Luckily there is public WiFi.
