VIKING'S WHARF — Restaurant in Seoul

The staff were very nice here and the desserts, drinks and most of the food was not too bad but there was little choice, i did like the chocolate mouse cake though. Unfortunately the lobster (the main reason for going there and spending $330USD for the 3 of us for a 2 hour lunch) was not very good. I noticed that the first 2 lobsters were not too bad as we had just arrived but I think they keep them in hot water until you get one cut for you so they end up over cooked, rubbery and rather tasteless). Take away the lobster and charge $30 per person and most people will be happy. We will not be going back. Too bad as again the staff were very nice and the rest of the food was good. Oh, one more comment, I'm pretty sure that female lobster is supposed to be thrown back into the ocean to make sure more are born but they were only serving female lobster (smaller size and perhaps the reason since they may have cost less and also they all had eggs inside, not very appetizing). Also alcohol costs extra and they were charging almost 7000 won ($6.50) for one bottle when you can buy a 6 pack in the store for 9000...

Overall: not that bad, it's just their service did not reach out their price(110$ for 1 adults for 100min to 3 hour). Buch of good restaurants nearby go there.even hotel serviced buffet is located nearby.

Food 3 star: they advertise as 'lobster buffet', 'we are serving infinity lobsters', the biggest problem is that lobsters, but it just tasteless lobsters, literally could not find a taste within that lobster. Their robter soup is taste more like robsters. Second problem is there is some limited offer menu, some item is not a infinite, and they never say that. The grill, fresh seafood is limited per table. Third problem is fruit bar, they say fresh fruit juice, but they are not. Most of them is just pre cutted packaging juice. Beside these taste are quite nice. But not reaching the price. Smoked Salmon is good anyway

Services 2 stars: they serve a quality (most of) food,but not quantity, plates (small), tissues are hidden. need some investigation. Server may know etiquette, but cook are very opposite. They are quite hostile toward to a customers. Atmosphere 4 star: interior...

It a very expensive place compared to other buffet place. It boast its unlimited lobster menu but its all frozen lobster so its difficult to justify for the price per entry which cost 100 USD. I was expecting the honey butter lobster to be a single piece lobster but dissapointed to find out that its actually minced lobster with other ingredient cramped to a lobster shell. I was expecting more from this place especially for the price range.

Not planning to revisit this place...
