While on another business trip to Gwangju, I got a chance to visit a famous restaurant in Damyang that both locals and taxi drivers recommended. Luckily, I had a car this time, so I drove out for dinner — expectations were high, whether it was for the tteok-galbi or pork ribs.
But maybe those expectations were too high. What I got was a few pieces of fatty, mass-produced meat… and I couldn’t help but wonder, “Is this the place everyone raves about?”
To make matters worse, I found a hair in the side dishes, including the lettuce. Completely killed my appetite. So glad I didn’t order more. Definitely not going back — easily one of the worst dining experiences...
