Gastrobar Llámame Lola — Restaurant in Úbeda

Absolutely loved this place! We stumbled upon it on a wander round town and are so glad we did. They don't take reservations but we put our name on a waiting list and sat at the bar for a drink, and before we'd finished the first round, we had a table out in the sun. Whilst we waited, we read about the bar's kitchen garden where they grow some of the fruit, vegetables and herbs in the dishes. It's quite traditional tapas, but there are some more modern takes, and a few local specialities too. The free tapas with our drinks were a nice touch and a great way to keep hunger at bay. We had the parillada de verduras, the patatas bravas, and the pork in the photo. Really enjoyed everything! The waiter was great; friendly, attentive, and brought our orders quickly. He also advised us that we'd probably ordered too much, which I always appreciate (and he was right!). All in all, an excellent find and I'd definitely return if I went...

Unfortunatelly I'll have to start with the negatives.

Minus one star because we arrived at 15:00 and the waiter stressed us so much to order fast, that my hands were shaking after that.

I do understand that fiesta and having a break/lunch/time do nothing before start working again is s-u-p-e-r important but: It would be better to tell us, that they're not serving at this time, instead of kind of forcing us to order/eat/leave fast, considering that a)we had to scan for the menu, with pure internet conection and b)the waiter didn't speak any english.

Dispite of all this the waiter/service was really friendly, the food was great, I definitely would go again and do...

Le doy una estrella porque bajo mi punto de vista no merece más. Antes de nada, decir que sus tapas son ricas, y algunos platos que vi en otros clientes tenían buena pinta, pero mi experiencia ha sido desastrosa, y estoy acostumbrada a viajar y comer en todo tipo de lugares. En la carta venden sus famosas LOLITAS..... Que nombre tan bonito. Mi pareja y yo pedimos 4 LOLITAS, 2 de atún y queso cremoso y 2 de salmón y queso cremoso. Por el precio que valían, 6,50€ cada una, esperas algo diferente. A los pocos minutos asoman con 4 TOSTADAS sin tostar, con queso Philadelphia del que se compra en el mercadona para consumir en casa y unas rodajas de atún y salmón de las bandejas que se venden en este tipo de establecimientos. Vamos, una tostada como la que cualquier persona se hace para cenar y en este negocio las cobran a 6,50€. Está claro que el servicio se paga, pero es que hasta aires tiene la camarera, una de ellas, la rubia en concreto. Señora, yo tengo un negocio y a mi no se me ocurriría contestar así a mis clientes. Tienen gente por el lugar tan agradable y el diseño tan acogedor, pero es un local caro para comer según la relación calidad-precio que ustedes promocionan en la red, y en mi caso, bajo mi experiencia, unos precios excesivos para el tipo de comida. Quitenlo de sitios baratos. Tendrá calidad en algunas comidas, pero es un lugar de tapeo y no para ir a comer bien y económico. Por 4 tostadas, 2 cervezas y una coca cola hemos pagaso 31€, y encima el comportamiento aireado de la camarera, cosa que he comprobado que no soy la única que lo piensa por críticas hechas en este tipo de redes que puntúan los establecimientos. Lo recomendaría para ir a tomar una copa y tapear. Y por favor, vendan las LOLITAS como lo que son, tostadas con Philadelphia y no con queso cremoso. No pretendo hacer daño, solo soy realista, cualquiera se da cuenta que 6,50€ por una tostada...
