Acoustic Whim - Lounge Bar and Whiskey House — Restaurant in Adeje

Acoustic Whim is a superb whiskey and cocktail bar tucked away in Adeje. The owner and host is Edward, an incredible DJ and sound engineer with a liking for deep house, afro beat and jazz music. On my first visit Edward took the time to explain his passion and experience as a sound engineer in detail and how he achieves such an amazing sound, deep with bass and pure through the mid range. So crisp is the sound that I had a lasting smile remembering my first visit for days. The bar has a comfortable seating area where you can enjoy an extensive whiskey menu including brands Like Macallan, Balvenie and Blue label Jonny Walker all professionally served in the correct glass with iced rocks or ice. The atmosphere is simple amazing. For those who like the volume a little higher I would recommend a visit on a Friday between 10pm and midnight when Edward performs a live two hour set (I would recommend booking a table as it gets quite busy on these nights). Being lucky enough to have a villa on the island I make a beeline to the Acoustic Whim on every visit. I would congratulate Edward for having in my opinion the finest Whiskey lounge on the island. We didn't even get the chance to try it. There was no one as it was quite early, but we were told that it's a members only club. Which is cool, I get it. But this is an info we didn't see anywhere. If there is no such policy and there was another issue, it would have been nice just to be told.

A little update since I can't add a reply. There is indeed a sign at the entrance. It says you can ask at the bar for further details. If it's clear to you that the clients didn't read it, why in the world wouldn't you tell them about the possibility of becoming members? Because you don't want them as your clients, of course.
