We recently visited this park, on 5/6/25. Our 5 year old daughter couldn't go on much at all due to the height restrictions. And what she could go on by herself, we as parents, couldn't go on with her. After an hour she was bored. I spent £45 on food for the 3 of us. The only decent food was my daughters pizza. My husbands hot dog and chips were, as he described, the worst hot dog he's ever had. I couldn't eat my chicken strips as they were pink inside, and I was worried about getting food poisoning. I would have asked for a refund, but we had already waited an eternity for our food. I didn't fancy losing another year of my life by queuing up. Tiny sauce dips were 1 euro each! The lockers were expensive at 6 euros to hire. They print your locker pin on a piece of paper. So unless you have a photograhic memory, you would need to keep it in something waterproof. Luckily, they sell waterproof phone pouches for 6 euros if you wanted them. It's almost like they knew that people would need them! Luckily I have a photographic memory and memorised both the locker number and the pin. I also got around the idiotic fact that they print both your locker number and pin on the same piece of paper, inviting would be thieves to raid your locker if they found the piece of paper. I did this by ripping off the locker number at the top of the paper. The staff all looked like they'd couldn't wait to get out of there!. The "dolphin museum" was €2.50 entry per person. It consisted of a gift shop, a mural wall, a few skeletons, and viewing windows that looked into the dolphin enclosure. This was great, as you could see them swimming so close. Beautiful graceful animals. I would rename the museum as a viewing facility because that's all it is. Oh with a recording which the surly man on entry switches on when you enter. Quite comical really. I kept hearing "is this it?" as people entered! The dolphin show really turned around what had been up until then, a disappointing day. The show was fantastic. Trainers were great, and the dolphins were beautiful. The trainers really looked like they loved the dolphins. So I really hope that's the case, and that they are treated well. My daughter insisted on having some popcorn, which was four euros. And as predicted, it tasted awful. It tasted like old burnt oil. Horrible. Water was extortionate, at nearly 8 euros for just two bottles. All in all, it was just a complete rip-off. They're clearly out to just fleece people. There's making a profit, then there's extreme greed. If it hadn't been for the dolphin show I would have been so upset for...
Read moreWe had a fun day here. It was very hot and plenty of water slides and cool water to have fun in!
The wave pool was quite small, but the lifeguards were always vigilant. The lazy river was cute. Lots of mixed water rides for the kids to enjoy at various speeds! The fast pass came in here. We visited in August.
We paid €20 each for the kids to have fast passes for the rides. It was worth it on the day we went. Saved them queuing up for an inflatable each time they came back off a slide to go on again. (He never gave me a receipt when I paid cash for the fast passes so had we had lost one I wouldn't have been able to prove we had purchased them!! This did worry me as during the day one fastpass wristband was super loose on one of the kids,..would pay by card next time)
The water rides were fun, the lifeguards seem to be watching closely what is going on. 💪
Lockers are available when you arrive at the beginning for all your valuables.
Sun beds I always think should be included in the ticket price, but these places but they are always extra for a sun bed, at least here they were only 2euro each. Reasonable when you need 4 beds.
Food - We had such fun going on rides we didn't decide to have something to eat until gone 4pm. We got to the cafes and they had already stopped serving ALL hot food, which was disappointing seen as though it was more than an hour until the park closed. Clearly there was still a need for it as we weren't the only people in the queue asking for hot food, such as chips, pizza etc. I think this closed far too early. (In hindsight it probably saved us a small fortune as it was overpriced for what it was.. overpriced chips, pizza, beer cola)
The toilets at the top of the site were spotless, clean, tidy and useable. The toilet block down by the dolphin centre near the water pools was horrible. Dirty toilets, uncleaned and bins overflowing, no toilet paper. Not very nice at all. Use the ones at the top.
Chance to purchase digital photos at the end of the day.
Over all though a good day out, we were all worn...
Read moreWe visited Aqualand Tenerife on a Sunday in April, and to our surprise, it was not crowded at all. The park was mainly filled with families and young children, which made the atmosphere super relaxed and pleasant. If you're looking for a calm day out at a water park in Costa Adeje, this is a solid choice.
The park has some great slides for adults too. Even though we didn’t go on them this time, they looked fun and had no waiting lines. I’m already planning to return with friends and their kids so we can check out more of the attractions while the little ones play.
What stood out to me was how clean and well-maintained the park was. Also, unlike other water parks in Tenerife, Aqualand didn’t feel overly strict or supervised. It gave off a more laid-back vibe, which I personally appreciated. You’re not constantly hearing lifeguard whistles or feeling watched.
We had some food at the park—pizza, fries, chicken strips, and drinks. The food was decent, and portions were fair. Prices were on the higher side, but that’s pretty standard for tourist attractions in the area.
A tip for families: There are photographers walking around the park taking candid photos. At first, I found it a bit annoying, but later I noticed a QR code near the sunbeds. After scanning it, you can use facial recognition to find all your pictures from the day. The system actually worked well, and we got some great shots of our son. Pricing was 40€ for all pictures of the family, 30€ for one person, 25€ for three photos, and 10€ for a single one. It was a nice surprise, and I’d recommend stopping a photographer if you want quality memories from the visit.
All in all, my son didn’t want to leave. The day was a success, and I would rate Aqualand Tenerife 4.6 out of 5 stars. If you're visiting Costa Adeje with kids and want a more chilled water park experience surrounded by other families, it’s...
