Steakhouse Bellavista — Restaurant in Adeje

Unfortunately I now have to change my glowing 5* review and experience that I have always had. We visited this evening and unfortunately cannot oversee the problems. Starters were ok. One main course ok. I ordered the same steak pizza as I mention in my previous review below - it was inedible. Uncooked pizza dough. They took it away & the chef came out with the same pizza reheated - all it had done was cook the steak more and leave the dough still raw. I requested they re-made it and I was told “it’s an expensive pizza” and they tried to make me amend my order to something cheaper on the menu! I explained I had to eaten this same dish at least 5 times before. They then agreed to re-do it. My partner had finished eating & 15/20 minutes after he had finished the pizza arrived….ok the pizza base was fresh but still doughy…the steak was not fillet steak as it should have been or was before. Just very very thin pieces which I think was taken from the pizza before and cut down. Incredibly disappointed. The staff, their attitude with dealing with this all just left a very negative feel including the looks we got as we left the restaurant so unfortunately will not be returning and wish to retract my review below.

No change in staff & same chef so it’s not even to do with a management/kitchen change.

Fabulous food & service. Also a great selection of fine Italian wines at very reasonable prices. My partner had the fillet steak and it was delicious - one of the best on the island. I had the steak pizza, also fantastic. Just a shame the restaurant was so quiet as for the quality & reasonable prices this place should be packed out. Look forward to...

This is by far one of the best restaurants on Tenerife!! I’ve been to Tenerife more than 12 times, and if I could give this a 10/10 I would🤩 First of all the food is soooo amazing, so if you love Italian food, you should definitely swing by this restaurant (I had the best pizza I’ve ever had) Also they have an open kitchen, which personally for me, says a lot about the food, freshness and quality. The prize of the food is also insane! Both my family and I got 2 courses each and also wine, water, soft drinks and of course limoncello and in total it was 115€ 🤩 Secondly the people who works here are just amazing! They are always smiling and making sure everything is perfect and you honestly feel like you are a part of a family And thirdly in general the atmosphere is just great! I'd give no stars if possible the worst experience of our life's with food in this place tonight, chicken only cooked on outside looked cooked until started to be eaten, totally raw, meat was off and full of fat. Hard piece of something in pizza still don't know what it was it made my son sick. Staff really unfriendly when telling them the food was completely raw! Absolutely the worst staff 3 ilalians out shouting giving off in Italian made us pay for all the food 87euros even though no one could eat there food!!! And two of us may get food poisoning 😡 So upset off steak and raw chicken and the most hostile if staff not good at all!
