BAR CAFETERÍA ECLIPSE — Restaurant in Adeje

Most of the staff were really nice except the man who I spoke to when I came in to pay my bill. I came inside to pay my bill, I brought back my empty glass to save them the trouble. All I asked was if it was possible to pay some cash some card as this is the case in most places (I had euros left I’d like to spend as it’s my last day here but not enough for the entire bill) I was proceeded to be asked multiple times where I am from which doesn’t seem relevant to me and was met with attitude throughout the payment process due to the fact I’m from London. A simple question which could’ve been answered with a simple reply of sorry we can’t do that it must be cash or card, instead of shouting at me in front of everyone in the establishment about where I’m from and continuing to just shout CASH OR CARD at me as if I am hard of hearing or understanding. This is disgusting behaviour I paid my bill in full on my card but an establishment that supports prejudice will never receive a penny from me again....

Love this place! Thought I left a review here a couple of years ago, so apologies. I thought the cafe was absolutely brilliant- the staff are patient with the non-Spanish attempting tourists, and I felt so welcome when I tried the language. The food was first class and the service was always with a smile. Prices were so reasonable too. I'm dying to go to the bar at night as it looks like it's where the locals go- always go where the locals go, not to gimmicky places. We were in a hurry this year and I forgot my pleasantries when we sat down to order but the main man was understanding and on the money. Keep up the excellent work,...

Came in for a coffee, asked "un caffè, por favor" with my foreign accent to the barista, whilst the owner or manager (the only one sitting down) called me a goat, saying "cabron, se dice por favor" and his barista reminded him I did say please. He called me a goat in spanish because he thought I didn't say please, and thought I didn't understand Spanish. You customers might love his English breakfast but you have no idea what he says behind your face, just because you won't understand. Don't be a tourist puppet and go...
