We chose the restaurant based on Google and TripAdvisor reviews.

The restaurant did not fully meet expectations. The place had been praised in many reviews, but the food, the restaurant and the experience all together were very mediocre. In general, the location is good, the restaurant has seats inside and on the terrace. Compared to many other restaurants at the same time, there were more customers here than the average in other places. So this was promising.

The menu is very extensive, which in itself indicates that the freshness of the ingredients cannot be guaranteed and this was ultimately the case. The list is even too extensive, fewer portions and more quality could work better with that volume… The ingredients in the portions seemed like a basic dish and in places like ready-made products.

Our group ate garlic bread as a starter, which was one slice of basic bread found on the store shelf. The main courses were steak with french fries, which was probably the best portion, very basic. The pizza was edible, but also very simple and with little amount ingredients (fresh tomato and mozzarella could be better).

The two pasta dishes, were a disappointment. In the presentation there had been some effort put in, but the joy was gone after the first. Probably pre-cooked and just mixed before serving. Not much flavor at all. In meat pasta there was very little meat, no spices, but extra amoun cream and it was very greasy.

The crab and tomato pasta was a real disappointment, no flavor, four crabs and three cherry tomatoes in the entire dish. The crabs were dry, i.e. overcooked, and the pasta had such a smell that the seafood product was not the freshest either. In addition, the dish was already lukewarm when it arrived.

The restaurant was full, so everyone was obviously in a bit of a hurry. Was there enough staff? Customer service was basic, but urgent and even tense in places. The waiter asked about the food, which we already answered in the restaurant, but this did not arouse any reaction or comment. Just the invoice straight to the table. So there was also an opportunity to react the situation in terms of customer service.

The place is nice to go for a beer and wine, but I do not recommend it as a place to eat.

The price level of the place is generally moderate, but it's more about what you get for your money. If the quality of the food is this, then even the cheap one is...

After a recent visit I'm hard pressed to believe there are so many positive reviews. We called ahead to book at table for 6 from our hotel reception and was asked if we wanted in-side or out. Upon arrival we could see it was busy and was seated inside where there was no air conditioning or open windows, the window ledges were covered in dead insects and we were pestered by an annoying fly all night, but at least he was more attentive than the waiter. We were put at the back of the restaurant where we had a beautiful view straight into the toilets. When we saw a table became empty outside we asked if we could move and the waiter said yes but then we watched someone else be seated there. A short while later a different table inside became available so we moved ourselves but it took a while for them to clear the dirty glasses from the party before us. When we sat down there was no drinks menu offered, 1 of the party asked to see a cocktail menu and was told just to tell them what we wanted and they make it which seems odd as there were then no prices. Starters came after a short wait but they were poor and it took some time for the last dish to arrive. Garlic bread was just 2 slices from a loaf with a faint taste of garlic and a slice of what looked like a processed cheese slice on top, barely melted. Then it was time for main courses... we waited an hour or so being ignored by our server on many occasions when trying to get his attention. When it finally arrived it was very bland and sone lacked heat. The steak had clearly being held under hot lamps as the sauce and skinned and was cold. Steak had been requested medium but was more rare. Pasta dishes lacked seasoning and the truffle risotto had no chicken or truffle as described on the menu. Then the final blow was when asking for the bill being ignored by our waiter on numerous occasions and it took for another server to be asked but once we had the bill they kept pestering every 2 mins. The attitude of one of the waiters stinks.

Went with my partner and we were pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian options offered. The first time we went, we were sat quickly, served quickly, food was delicious and well priced. Overall no complaints. Because our experience was so pleasant the first time, we decided to go again a couple of nights later. We were sat quickly as we were last time and our orders were taken in good time. After ordering our meals, our starter came out and was delicious. My meal arrived and shortly after, my partners Vegetarian pasta dish arrived also. Luckily, my partner was so impressed with the food last time she spent a few minutes trying to get a picture of the dish. After about 3-5 minutes after getting her meal, the waiter returned to the table and took the dish away stating that it was the wrong dish and that it actually contained chicken. No apologies, just taken away. After waiting for about 15-20 minutes, I couldn’t wait any longer as my meal was almost stone cold and there was no sign of the vegetarian pasta for my partner. By the time my partners dish arrived, I was finished. The meals were delicious but the bad service didn’t end there. The restaurant wasn’t full, maybe 40-60% occupied, however, we were sat with our used dishes on our table for a good 15 minutes before they were taken away. We then waited a further 20 minutes or so to be given our bill after requesting it. Again, no apologies whatsoever despite the multiple issues we had.
