My experience at Beach Club Bahia del Duque left much to be desired. With only 3-4 waiter staff for approximately 15 tables, service was disappointingly chaotic. When we arrived, we had to prompt two chatting waiters to ask can we sit at that table. .
On the plus side, the food arrived promptly and was satisfactory. However, the prices were a letdown – a large beer for over €6 each felt like a rip-off.
The real frustration came when asking for the bill. After finally getting the waiter's attention, I waited for what felt like an eternity—close to 15 minutes—for him to bring the bill. Frustrated, I eventually took matters into my own hands and got up to leave. I told a different waiter that it seemed they didn't handle bills or payments efficiently. Surprisingly, this changed their tune quickly. Eventually, I got the bill from the original waiter who promptly walked away again. I had to follow up, pay by card, and ask to settle the bill at the counter.
In the end, this experience was overpriced, with subpar service, but the views were the only redeeming feature. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Beach Club...
Read moreSuch a shame because this place has so much potential. We sat down and looked at the menu and after reading ‘we have a menu dedicated for vegan, please ask staff’ we were overjoyed. However after asking the staff, we got an abrupt ‘no, no vegan food here’…. We double checked and they said this is an old menu.. yet it says it on their web menu and also their physical menu. Literally not one thing for vegans, not even their potato dish 😂
We sat and had a mocktail and a beer anyway as the setting was lovely (over the beach) but oh my god the amount of lemon juice in my frozen strawberry margarita and my partners mango one was disgusting. Couldn’t bare to return it and ask for another because of the rude experience at the beginning.. how bad is that to be SO unapproachable!
Shame I came to the reviews AFTER my visit. Would have avoided like the plague if I had seen...
Read moreNEVER AGAIN !! We live in Tenerife and like to have a nice lunch at the beach once in a while. Today was absolutely THE LAST TIME in this place. We seated 20 minutes without having one sign (not mentioning a Hello !!!) from any of the 3 waitresses. One was avoiding eyecontact with us, the other one was busy taking care of another table (joking and flirting) while the 3rd one kept saying "it'snot my section". We left after 20 minutes, 3 tables were attended in the meantime (2 came after us...but probably being tourists was an advantage in terms of attention). I told the waitress we were leaving- she didn't apologise nor comment (nor say goodbye). We ended up in Fanabe where service was great and food excellent.AVOID...
