Update 2025 We have returned for a few lunches and always had great food and service. The pizzas are delicious, Caesar salad is a good portion. Fish and chips a real favourite with my son (it’s a big portion). The primavera salad with avocado and prawns was really popular with my wife and daughter. Felix is a great host - a real gentlemen, great sense of humour 😎. We will be back next time.

Update 2019. Still a great place for lunch. We come here several times. Salads are good especially the Tropical. Good pasta and pizza etc. Good views and portion size though I would prefer some smaller options. ;-) Not sure about negative staff reviews - I would say some are not “outgoing” but never rude. I guess some people expect to be treated like kings all the time. It’s not cheap but it isn’t expensive compared to others and the food it on the better end of the scale of “also the same” types.

2018 Staff friendly and attentive. Went for lunch to get out. Great pizza and pasta. Caesars salad was good - my wife had an avocado salad which was tasty but not as flavoursome as some. We are going back for...

The lunch was Ok, before the shift changed and that old annoyed waiter appeared. The most tables were empty but when I tried to call him with polite “excuse me” while he was putting cutlery on empty table next to us, he just waved off! We wanted just to order another glass of wine. Then he never approached, but was nicely chitchatting with other Spanish table. He offered them aroma candles against flies but not to other tables! I asked what is the problem ? Was it personal? He said, he don’t understand ANY English! And when he was taking empty dishes from our table he dropped the spoon with green sauce next to my friend! With all those stains all over! And even didn’t say “SORRY “! How is it possible in such a touristic place? But definitely he was very unfriendly with other non Spanish guests. As about food - it could be Ok, i could say... But we both had a terrible diarrhea from theirs tuna...

I have been using this place for more than three years; 3 times per year for a week at a time. Plastic in food. Head waiter dismissive and said "well i will give you a new salad" from the fish meal i was having. No apology, simply it is ok to have plastic in your food (2cm x 2cm). Didn't take food away just in case more plastic; removed the visible piece and went about his business. Go to toilet passed the same person only to find table and half empty drinks cleared whilst he was in front of it. Response from big boss man is " i need to do it as I may get a rush". They had at least 12 tables of 4 people empty. Must be expecting a bendy bus or an aircraft. Can be good but don't find an issue or they will simply annoy you as much as possible. Couldn't run a bath. Think best thing to do is refuse to pay when there is an issue and they will then have to take it...

Wow...has this place changed for the worse. ..mid January and the service is so slow its almost rude...the prawns in garlic and brandy had no flavour except the very burnt garlic. Was close to inedible The piza was ok...but ive had better in the area. The staff are too busy chatting to each other so no chance I'll get the bill anytime soon.. had to go get the bill....another couple moaning about the whole meal. Such a shame as this in the past has been a goto restaurant. Never Again...... the review below was from a while ago and bears no relation to todays restaurant lunch for 2 with Sangria blanco and a lovely Barraquito to finish. Under €50....What's not to like.

Beautifully situated on the promenade, park-like meadow in the foreground with a view of the sea. Very extensive menu, many meat dishes but lots of fish to choose from. When we ordered, we were surprised to find that almost everything was not available today. Almost only the fish of the day remains. The many waiters coming up promise good service. Although they are friendly, they are surprisingly unproductive, slow, inattentive and seem unmotivated. Our dishes served were rather below average.

Ate here 3 times during a week. Twice for lunch and the great cheese salads and focaccia, then once for dinner. Very generous portions - the squid and padron peppers come in huge bowls and the pizza was great. One waiter said the chef is Italian which might explain this. I saw reviews about poor service for this place. One guy on lunch service was really friendly but some of the others are pretty disinterested but I wouldn’t say rude. Overall great food and a good seafront location.
