This was our second time at Bonfire, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing compared to our first visit.
The kids’ pasta was completely inedible — the sauce tasted raw and store-bought, not a proper tomato sauce at all. We had to leave in a hurry because the kids were still hungry, which was really unfortunate. For a restaurant of this level, a good kids’ menu should be a basic expectation.
The tuna tartare was just average this time (it was excellent during our first visit and the portion was larger then). The risotto was okay, though not as flavorful as before. The king prawn dish, however, was very good.
The staff were friendly and understanding, and they did not charge us for the spaghetti, which we appreciated. But overall, the experience was disappointing — especially since our first visit had live music and better food, while this time felt very lackluster.
We genuinely hope the restaurant improves the quality of the tomato sauce and the kids’ menu. Until then, we’re not sure if...

The fish was the best I’ve ever had – fresh, perfectly cooked in a delicious pil pil sauce, and masterfully filleted at the table by Giuseppe, completely without bones. The side dishes were just as outstanding and complemented the dish perfectly.
The entire team was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout the whole evening. A truly outstanding experience – highly recommended and definitely one of our culinary highlights...
