Having found it impossible to order a kitchen sink online I was forced to make the trip from Valle Gran Rey de La Gomera to the outlet in Adeje on Tenerife which took 4 hours travel time each way. On arrival the staff were completely rushed off their feet trying to attend a large amount of waiting customers. I finally managed to order my sink and a stainless steel bin, both of which I paid for on the spot. I was also charged €30 for the delivery of my purchases to my home on La Gomera as I could not carry them and do not own a vehicle. 5 weeks later and I have still received nothing at all. No notifications, no merchandise, no correspondence. I have called multiple times and each time the staff have had no idea even which company they use for transportation between islands. I am at my wits end. I need the sink, but doubt very much at this point, after all the phone calls and getting fobbed off time after time, that they will honour their contract. If I don't hear anything from them by tomorrow, which was their latest of many promises, I will be forced to look into taking legal action. What a sad state of affairs. Who would have thought that it would be so exhausting and frustrating to get a kitchen sink delivered from such a ordinarily reputable company. Very disappointed. I have finally received my goods yesterday after having had to investigate which companies deliver from this outlet and calling them one by one, once I found the one that they work with (which, again they were incapable of telling me through customer service) and they said they had picked up the merchandise on the 13th of January as opposed to Leroy Merlín claiming that it had left on the 31st of December. I had already started the procedure of cancelling the payment through my bank. The customer service is abominable. Read moreI'm giving 3 stars because they have a good variety.. But.. Would be 5 stars only for the rude staff member I encountered today at till 7. I'm Irish.. Not that it matters, but I speak English and trying to learn Spanish.. Been here 4 months so my Spanish isn't great.. I know very simple words.. So I am painting the tile floor of my new business premises and ran out of paint.. So went back there today to buy more.. I had 3 buckets of paint and seen there was a shorter queue and thought it was the express checkout for only a few items.. Got to the checkout and the guy at the till speaks to me in Spanish, obviously because I'm in a Spanish island, but I didn't know what he said so I politely said sorry?? He then has this face on him like who the hell do I think I am.. He speaks again in Spanish and I politely say lo siento mi espanol es no bien, soy estudiar espanol but no bien.. He gets extremely rude looking me up and down (I'm in my painting gear mind you) and says very rudly I need to get in the other queue. I say I'm sorry I thought this was express checkout. Which he rudly replies with no it's business checkout for businesses.. So I say that's okay I have a business, and he goes off on one with me... Extremely rude! I ask him what his problem is, and why is he speaking to me like this?? Which he rudly goes off on one about it being solely for business.. So I say there's no need to be rude.. I have a business.. Read moreMy experience with ventanas is very bad in relation to the installation service. I was dealing with Nelson from the company who does the installation. I bought 13 ventanas and had to pay in advance (4 months) the ventanas plus the installation service. The last day of the installation the guys who did it asked me to sign an approval without even checking together the ventanas and not mentioning some defects, I refused and checked with them and found several problems and insisted to write them out on the installation document before signing. After 2 months problems are not fixed and I never received the installation document that I signed, I already sent 2 email I received a call from Leroymerlin saying that it will take one more month, no mention about the document.
I'm expecting a reply to this review saying the usual story: thank you...we are working to improve.. If you want all details you could contact me anytime
Guys if you really want to improve I can help you: 1- ask the payment of the installation ONLY when it's completed successfully. 2- consider an alternative company for installations 3 - give to the customer the installation report as a standard 4- monitor the installation company if there are problems monitor with the customer the progress while fixing. 5- give a free voucher to the customer in case you have evidence of a bad service that created a problem to the customer.
I suggest customers NOT TO BUY ventanas with installation service if point 1 is not implemented and particularly if ventanas are big size, there are other companies that are probably 10-20% more expensive and can give you a much better...
