Le Croissant was closing as I entered. I fired the phrase “tu hablas ingles” at the staff member. On hearing her Irish accent I relaxed immediately. I asked for a Flatwhite with non-dairy milk. I was happy to hear they had Alpro oat milk professional. She explained the coffee was organically sourced as she prepared it. Latte art welcomed me as I set the coffee down. I took a sip. It was then I smiled. Up until this moment all the coffee I had tasted, had been dark Italian roast. This coffee had subtle notes of nuts. Thank you. The inside was accommodating. It felt mature and pastry focussed. The owner, bless her rushes soul, was an hive of knowledge. I naturally began to talk about cycling, having returned to Adeje from my ride to Los Gigantes. I could have spoken to her all day.

During many years every time when we in Tenerife despite living not very close to this place, we begin days from breakfast there. Amazing coffee , croissants with pistachio, chicken or almonds, fresh juice. And the most amazing stuff, the lady on the till very nice, I presume she’s owner , and Waiter Andreina is awesome , very professional and all the time smiling and very helpful ....
