SIMPLE Coffee Brunch — Restaurant in Adeje

Its SIMPLE... This is the best brunch spot in Tenerife. Before they moved they were good but now with the bigger premises they have gone to the next level. They will be featuring heavily on my upcoming blog about the best brunch spots in Tenerife South on Zen Den.

The service is always very friendly and you are greeted by a smile, which is so important to me. the coffee is outstanding and they do coffee art which is also such a nice personal touch. The coffee doesn't just look good but tastes good too, I always go back for a second one.

Food is outstanding and well presented, the mixture of ingredients is creative and fresh. The Simple Brunch is my favorite... or was, until I tried the Burger Benedict last weekend! :D

If I could improve something it is the organisation of getting seated and long it takes to order, I believe it would benefit from having a stricter process here. Remember who needs to be seated first, don't let people jump the queue, wipe the table and let people order drinks straight away while they look at the food. Once food is ordered it is quick to come but it can be confusing as to why people are getting seated before you or order before you when you were seated before.

Apart from this (which is probably just a teething problem from their recent expansion) This is the friendliest, tastiest and certainly my happy place on a well earned weekend morning.

I love what the owners have done to interior of SIMPLE Coffee Brunch. Before I delve into the details of it. I would like to congratulate SIMPLE for laying down bread crumbs for the coffee seeker to find this cafe. It wouldn’t be obvious to find without them. On entering SIMPLE you will marvel at the swings that are hung up in it’s comfortable, eccentric interior. It wasn’t obvious from looking around what SIMPLE’s focus is. What is does do well is craft beautiful looking coffee. The commercialised roasted beans didn’t suit my tastes. That’s all I would change. The staff, Originally from Columbia and Chile were friendly and talkative. Their English was fantastic. They were happy to lend an ear and listen to my recommendations: Oatly Barista Edition(my personal favourite Oat Milk) and coffee roasted by Square Mile (arguably one of the finest roasters...

I had breakfast for the first time here this morning as I live close by and it always smells so good when passing by. I ordered the oat and carrot pancackes with bacon and eggs. The bacon was very crispy and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The pancakes were a disappointment though as they were raw in the middle.

When I told the waitress about it she was very apologetic and brought them back to the kitchen. I think she felt nervous though as she tried to take my friends coffee as she walked away from the table but she had only finished half.

When the cook returned with the pancakes that were taken away to cook more, the cook then took away my friends plate even though she was only half way done with her food.

It's too bad as most of the food was good but cannot go back after this meal that I was charged...
