Hong Kong Food City (Adeje) — Restaurant in Adeje

We had a really enjoyable dinner here during our stay in Tenerife. The menu had a great variety of classic Chinese dishes that I wish I could have tried. Portions were generous and reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered a portion of egg fried rice, Vermicelli noodles, sweet and sour chicken and crispy chilli beef.

The egg fried rice was average, the sweet and sour chicken was better than I expected. I had low hopes because I find sweet and sour chicken that have a more red look generally taste better than the ones that look orange. This portion of sweet and sour chicken was orange but didn’t disappoint.

The vermicelli noodles were surprising good, I’ve only have good Vermicelli noodles once from a place in London and everywhere else does not make vermicelli noodles right. But I’m so glad that they did because I really enjoyed it. The crispy chilli beef was not nice, maybe it’s the way they make it but it tasted sour and a bit like vinegar.

I enjoyed the Chinese so much that we went back to get takeaway for our plane ride home. Even though it didn’t taste as good as it did the first time. The aesthetics of the restaurant is really nice, it’s a great spot for Chinese whether you want to dress casual or fancy. If I’m in Tenerife again I will...

The most horrible and rude experience.. A bit late but we went there on mothers day for a quick diner ..we ordered 2 soups and main course.. the soup came after 20 min one was veg which was sooo salty cudnt have it and the other soup the chicken was uncooked and since we were getting late My husband already paid ..so we paid for something we dint even have. We had to cancel the mains as they had not even started making it.. we can understand if u have limited staff all u can do is have a good attitude towards...

This place is so special to me and my family. I felt like I grew up with this family owned restaurant. Whenever I am sick, sad, on vacation or just spending time with my family, I come here, and I leave more than satisfied. The food is perfect, and I dont usually give 5 stars :) my favorite is the chicken and corn soup, fried rice with egg, chop suey, sweet and sour pork and noodles...
