A young new team at this longstanding restaurant, and they thoroughly deserve the success they've had in their first season, they've worked very hard. There are no negatives for us, everything we ate was excellent, hot ( when appropriate ) and perfectly cooked. There were queues, it's a small place and already very popular, but we booked ahead, and if people were prepared to wait more than 5 minutes, they were in for a treat! All the ones I saw waiting did! Fantastic - can't praise it enough.

Great value set menu. €25 for drink, starter, main and dessert - all excellent and well worth the price.

I had garlic prawns, grilled cuttlefish and cheesecake one night - then fried squid, T-bone steak and tiramisu another night.

For context, if you were to get the T-bone steak on its own it would be €30 - and the portion I got on the set menu was massive so I don't believe there is any difference.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The service was lightning fast.

Atmosphere is quite similar to other restaurants in the area (naturally) but it doesn't detract from my scoring - the rest makes up for it.

Having seen this rated 4.9 on Google, we booked a table for 9 pm. Unfortunately given that they were so busy we weren’t seated till 9:40 pm but we were immediately presented with a drink of our choice which made the experience of choosing our more enjoyable. The set menu for 20 €23 was quite simply incredible. Spoilt for choice! Did not leave for a good 2 1/2 hours because they ambience, food and service was simply exceptional. The two lovely young man that own this restaurant are working really hard to make it success and whilst there may be some misgivings, they need every support they can get.
