I came here tonight to have dinner with my boyfriend looking for some nice pasta to have on our last day on holiday. The staff, particularly the gentleman stood outside, was very lovely and we were excited to try the food as he had stated it was the best in town. However, I received my bolognese and in with it was a wasp there at the bottom of my bowl. Deep inside the sauce. I was disgusted, as was my boyfriend, and when I told the waitress she didn't even apologise or even bat an eyelid to be honest and just said she'd change the plate. I lost my appetite, but before I could say I didn't want anything, she hurried away. I called her back over and said I didn't want it, still no apology or anything. We had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. The owner (an older man) tried to scam us by charging 80€ instead of 30€, and treated us as if we were the ones trying to cheat them. I realized the error thanks to a notification from my Revolut card; with a more basic card, I might not have noticed the mistake. When we asked for a refund for the extra 50€, we were treated very rudely. The young waiter had the decency to be embarrassed and apologized for his manager's behavior. We had to wait 15 minutes to get our money back, without any apology or a smile from the owner. After all this, we still paid for our entire meal without any goodwill gesture. Absolutely amazing Italian pizza – exactly how it should be! The crust is light and airy, the tomato sauce perfectly seasoned, and the pizza baked to perfection. We ended up having dinner here many times during our holiday because it was just that good.

As a small piece of constructive feedback, the pasta dishes could be even better with a bit more seasoning – for example, the salmon pasta would shine with a little more sauce and a hint of garlic.
