What a place! Makes me home sick every time I’m away for too long! Town is cute as it couldn’t be... and place is just cool made simple! Great sliced meats, local products and house wine from the original lands of Alella & Maresme. Wine shop adjacent to the bar side. Social meeting point for locals, surrounding towns and those who locals feel proud to show the place to! Staff is always so kind, all sort of public is common. Busy in weekends on a sunny noon, summer and winter. Is perfect for an aperitivo, and right next to it on a walking distance there are few well known local restaurants to end the day in! About the wine shop, is a celar, where they sell barrel wines and also the fine spanish and Catalan wines selection that they have. If you’re not Too clever about wining, ask at the guys, they’ll be able to hint you with the right one for your paladar! Well I bet anyone can guess now that I love the place... always great food and shared memories of kinda home! Don’t miss it! BTW, check online since there’s some public local events throughout the year in that little town, some related to the wine lands and winery tradicional industry...

A really great lunch before heading up the hill for a visit to a vineyard.

The food was great, I’m told by our hosts it was a typically Catalan lunch of sorts, cured meats, olives and a bit of fish. Plus everyone was eating these crisps and putting a sauce on them so we did that too.

There aren’t traditional tables as you’d expect but old wine barrels with stools around them, which brings me to the wine, we enjoyed a very nice red with the meats and a beer or two.

On arrival it was busy but we got a barrel and we’re able to sit for a couple of hours by which time the majority of people had left. It’s an interesting building and you can see its history all over the walls and in the fixtures...

Hemos ido en multitud de ocasiones a este establecimiento y siempre con un trato y gusto exquisito. De hecho lo he recomendado a muchísimos amigos y familiares . Pues bien, no se si es porque han cambiado de personal ( por cierto muy joven e insolente) pero el trato y servicio a sido penoso. Después de hacer la comanda y abonar rápidamente nos dan las bebidas y nos dice una señorita que en breve nos servirán las tapas, me voy para mi mesa pero después de 15 minutos y viendo que servían a gente que habían llegado después que nosotros, me acerco al mostrador para informarme de que problema había con mi comanda, a lo cual me dicen que de que les estaba hablando, que no había comanda pendiente. Le enseño el ticket de la comanda y se lo llevan a la zona de preparado. Después de un rato esperando vuelvo a reclamar mi comanda y me dicen que no les consta que haya una comanda pendiente y que si tenia una tarjeta que avisa de que la comanda esta lista a lo que le digo que la señorita no nos s dado dicha tarjeta y seguidamente otra señorita que supongo era la encarga le dice a mi interlocutora con risa socarrona que tranquila que ella se hacia cargo. Le comentamos lo sucedido y nos dice que a ellas no les costa ninguna comanda pendiente. Menos mal que tenia el ticket de compra y pudo ver que efectivamente habíamos hecho dicha comanda con un importe de 44,95. Pues aun así nos ponían en duda que eso fuera cierto. Lo mas humillante es la falta de humildad y aceptar que se habían equivocado. El trato a sido deplorable. No volveremos a ir a este lugar y lógicamente hablare con mis amigos y familia el trato recibido para que no sean objeto de dicho trato deplorable. Creo que el propietario de este establecimiento tendría que seleccionar mas al personal que contra ta para estar al frente del negocio pues ya le aseguro que no es lo mas acertado. Nos hemos sentido humillados y maltratados. Lógicamente no volveremos mas a este lugar. Una pena, algo a cambiado pues hemos ido en ciento de ocasiones y nunca nos habíamos visto en esta situación tan bochornosa. No...
