This happened a while back. My wife, a good friend and I went there on a weekday for lunch. We were the last table to leave and since they seemed busy closing the day we decided to leave the money on the table (including a generous tip) and make our way out. Next thing you know the arrogant hipster of the owner and one of his waiters (not the sharpest tool in the box, I'd say) come running after us, chasing us, screaming and shouting accusing us of having done a runner. When we made them realize of their shameful, blundering behaviour all they had to say was 'oh we thought you were gonna pay by credit card!' Not a single apology. Should have gone back and taken the tip back. So much better with previous owner and front of the house, Gonzalo! P.S. to Pau, the owner...do you remember I had offered you in one of our visits FREE translations of your menu into English and German? Well, offer still up, any time!!!...

This is a beautiful restaurant and most of the dishes were lovely. We paid €36 for the menu on El dia de Santa Maria, which we were prepared for. However, some of the dishes were a huge disappointment. The Arroz de Marisco had a supplement of €6 and when it arrived, it had one prawn and four mussels on top for decoration and no fish in the rice; it was also very bland. I chose the Pavlova for dessert. This consisted of a plate of cream and three very small lumps of meringue. On the other hand, the starters of Carpaccio de langostine and Tiradito de Serviola were absolutely delicious, as were the Duck and Canalón de Marisco. A very nice place in a lovely setting. You eat outside on one of the covered terraces or in the garden. Excellent service from the wonderful staff ensures a pleasant experience. At the moment they are just doing a lunchtime menu, a kid's menu is also available. The food is of the highest quality, well presented and tasty. The menu is just under 24€ and great value in my opinion. A highly recommended experience! I can't wait to return as this place is now on my favourite...
