Akasaka — Restaurant in Alicante

I WOULD PUT A ZERO IF IT WAS AN OPTION.The sushi was mostly rice but other than that.The day before I went with my family and friends, i called the restaurant to ask about the three kids that were also coming since they were 4 years old and didn’t eat sushi so I wanted to ask if the could come. They told me it’s okay as long as they don’t eat. They next day on August 13, I went we were 5 adults and 3 kids. After we ordered 2 of the kids wanted to try edamame so they did and another kid tried sushi then he spit it out. After that a lady that makes our stay unpleasant as usual came and started screaming at my family and the four year old kids because on the phone i said that they wouldn’t be eating so i told her “we have no problem paying for the plate that the kids are eating since plate cost 3€ “ then she proceeded to say that the kids can’t sit on the table with us but i said no because they are 4 years old and edamame is a chocking hazard and that i came to sit with my family but she kept on shouting and calling me a liar so i said “ when we were talking on the phone i didn’t know that the kids were gonna eat” but then she went to call they police and we already knew that we did nothing wrong but she kept screaming at us. At last she made us pay before eating saying that she doesn’t trust us and kept on giving us looks even after. So we paid 35€ for the kids even though they ate a 3€ edamame plate. I always say that I wouldn’t go back because they always give us dirty looks but after experiencing this I WILL DEFINITELY NOT GO BACK AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT BECAUSE WE WERE TREATED VERY BADLY AND THE KIDS WERE TERRIFIED BECAUSE SHE WAS...

Horrible place.... At first time we went during the day nobody even noticed us. We were just given a rude hand gesture to step away untill another employee came after 5 minutes to tell us we need reservation. Fair enough. We made a dinner reservation. When we came they told us that they don't have restaurant menus and we should use our apps through our phones to check the menu. Yet they were giving other people these menus? When we finally ordered, the waitress inclined with surprise "Only this?" Basically a meal for each person separately and a desert was not enough. The food was nothing special. Their sushi was mediocre and the soup was very watery. In the end they tried to scam us by putting things on the bill which we didn't order. They tried to put 20 euro extra of food that we didn't order . We had to return the bill 3 times untill they get it right. In the end the waitress seemed angry that she couldn't scam as us she was used to doing with other tourists. Avoid...

Absolutely appalling experience! Have you ever come across a restaurant in 2025 that discriminates against single people? Well, this one does! The host initially refused to seat me as a solo lunch, even though there were plenty of free tables. Only after I insisted did she grudgingly assign me one.

Then, things got worse. When I tried to order the "all-you-can-eat" deal with 5 dishes, they told me I couldn’t because I was dining alone! Apparently, their policy only allows solo guests to order à la carte. Seriously? This is 2025, not the Dark Ages!

And let’s talk about the staff. Rude, uneducated, and downright disrespectful. The service was absolutely terrible. I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. If you're a single diner, don't even...
