Casa Mia Itàlia — Restaurant in Alicante

I have to say, I’ve been somewhat disappointed with some of the “top restaurants “ in Allicante so we started looking for classic favorites like we have in New York. Greek Italian etc. We looked up best Italian restaurants and we saw the reviews from Casa Mia Italia and decided to give it a shot.

Not only is this one of the best restaurants in Alicante but anywhere! Coming from NYC (and being a very critical food critic), that’s saying something.

Andrea walked us through the menu which btw they do not have. It changes daily so he will tell you what they have for the day.

With 3 courses of anti pasta and your entry it’s more like a chefs tasting menu at a high end restaurant but with very reasonable prices.

Delicious serving after delicious serving leading to the main course you ordered.

If you are not in the mood for dessert don’t worry, Andrea will talk you into it and you can thank him after because it was delicious.

I’m not going to tell you what I ordered or what my family ordered because you should experience all his offerings because the three entries we had were all delicious .

We had a wonderful time here. Andrea gets to know all his customers and really makes you feel like you are having a personal, 1 on 1 dining experience with him! Andrea has so much knowledge on each dish served and he answers any questions you may have. I loved that there was no menu here but my only criticism would be having no menu with main courses was a little confusing, I kept forgetting what Andrea had said, maybe it would be beneficial to have the mains on a chalk board or something so it’s easy to change and also people can refer back to this while they are deciding.
