S30 Reina Victoria Alicante — Hotel in Alicante

What a fantastically clean property. It had everything you could need or what to make the stay more comfortable. It was spacious and bright, well equipped and a good size. There were also a stocked fridge of drinks that you could buy. You didn’t hear any noise pollution and the air conditioning was working perfectly. Fabulous shower!! The lift is a little claustrophobic. It has a coffee shop attached and the staff both in reception and coffee shop were helpful and friendly. The communications before the arrival was good. It is very close to the eatery’s and the Mercat de Alicante. I can definitely recommend the Eat Greek which is nearby, particularly for a late night nibble. No lo recomiendo. Reservamos con Booking en febrero para estancia en abril, cancelable gratuitamente 2 días antes. Con el confinamiento, cancelamos en marzo con bastante antelación, pero ya nos habían cobrado desde febrero en el momento de la reserva un par de noches (dijeron que por política de hotel, pero en Booking no ponía nada de eso, de hecho ponía “sin pago por adelantado”). Por ser más comprensivos con el tema del covid, dejamos lo que quedaba del mes de marzo, abril y parte de mayo para que nos hicieran la devolución, pero booking no contestaba y el hotel nos daba largas, cada vez que llamaba a la recepcionista Luisa, siempre me daba una excusa diferente, que si no tenía tiempo, que si no encontraba mi reserva, que si no encontraba mi email, que si se le había olvidado, que si el departamento de finanzas no lo había hecho, que si me llamaba al día siguiente y nunca lo hacía, etc.. si no llamé para perseguir al hotel unas 15 veces, no llamé ninguna. Y así casi 3 meses. Y cuando la última vez que llamé, con otra excusa más para no devolvernos el dinero, le dije a Luisa que esto ya era un cachondeo, y me dijo Luisa que le había faltado al respeto y me colgó. Haciéndose ella la víctima! Me colgó 5 veces, y encima me escribió por WhatsApp diciendo que no tenía por qué aguantar faltas de respeto, y digo yo, colgar a una clienta que lleva 3 meses reclamando un cargo que no se debería haber hecho, y siempre de buenas maneras, ¿no es una falta de respeto? y encima por WhatsApp, qué poco profesional. Nunca volveremos a reservar en este hotel, además que Booking aquí ni ha contestado ni ha ayudado. Menuda decepción. We really recommend this hotel and the café! The staff were amazing, really helpful and friendly, answered all our questions. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The is a fridge inside the room that has some cold drinks and alcohol inside that you can buy. The showers and jacuzzi were awesome. Also, from the living room you can go out to a small balcony to enjoy the street view. It’s really worth to buy the breakfast while you stay there.
