Myself and my partner ate here lunchtime today 23/02/24 and chose this restaurant out of a choice of 3 all close to each other all serving menu of the day at what we thought was a similar price 15 euros. However once inside and sat down we realised that as it was Friday it was 17 euros. Anyway, we went with it and ordered a glass of red wine and a beer. Both were really nice. We chose for starters crispy goats cheese and a chicken salad which were both very small portions but what we had was nice. For main we both chose the seafood paella and this is where it all went wrong!! We patiently waited over an hour in-between the two courses which even for Spanish timings (and we are quite used to this) was quite a long time. We wouldn't have minded though if it had been worth the wait but we were then served the worst paella we have ever had! It was burnt to a crisp on the top, as dry as a bone, the seafood was sparse and completely shriveled up. It tasted absolutely disgusting - if it was our first paella, we would never eat it again. After two mouthfuls, I called the waitress over and said we couldn't eat it. She offered to bring something different but as we had entered the restaurant at 2.15 and it was now 3.40, we didn't want to waste anymore time. We said we would pay for what we had had and we were charged 18 euros. With hindsight, I think we should have only been charged for the alcohol as we hadn't really had a substantial lunch but had wasted all of that time. We just wanted to get out though. They kept apologing; they knew it was a terrible paella and kept saying something about the chef but really they shouldn't have even served it to us. Read moreExtremely disappointing experience. We ordered the fried vegetables, but they tasted like anything but vegetables — overwhelmingly like fish. It was clear they’re using the same pan and oil for everything, which is unacceptable, especially for people with dietary restrictions or preferences. We tried a bite and left the rest untouched.
When the staff came to clear our plates, we mentioned the issue. Not only did no one apologize or acknowledge our concern, but they also brought the bill with the vegetables still included. We politely said it would be reasonable to remove it from the bill, considering we barely touched it and clearly expressed why.
The waiter’s response was arrogant and dismissive, simply saying, “No, it wouldn’t be,” blaming us for not saying something earlier — even though no one checked on us during the meal.

Read moreReservamos para comer hoy, día de Navidad, hace más de un mes. Hemos pedido croquetas de rabo de toro, carne que no se veía por ningún sitio, porque era todo bechamel. Éramos cinco y cada uno se ha servido una en su plato, al cortarlas por la mitad y probar el primer bocado, nos damos cuenta que están heladas por dentro, vamos que no estaban bien hechas, cuando además hemos tardado un minuto en empezar a comernoslas, después de que nos las sirvieran; se lo decimos a la camarera, nos la retira y dice que nos sirven otras cinco. Pero a los pocos minutos sale de cocina y nos comenta que ya no les quedan más croquetas, nos trae las zamburiñas con foie, el cual está helado también, aún así nos las comemos. La ensalada pasable, las gambas al ajillo, mal cocinadas, el pulpo más duro que una piedra y he puesto una estrella en la comida porque la carne estaba comible por lo menos. Cuando vamos a pagar, nos damos cuenta que el precio de algunos de los productos, no corresponden con los indicados en la carta de su página web, aunque la camarera nos dice que son los que se indican en la carta física, entonces nos percatamos que no son los mismos precios los de una carta y otra. Aún así, pagamos la cuenta, pero pedimos la hoja de reclamaciones, con educación, pero la mujer del dueño, que no nos quiere decir su nombre, nos contesta con malos modales que cuál es el problema y cuando le explicamos que pensamos que nos están engañando y lo pésimamente que hemos comido, nos dice que no volvamos. Nos tiene media hora esperando de pié la hoja de reclamaciones, dándonos excusas de todo tipo, cuando ya nos ponemos serios y le digo que o me da la mencionada o que nos devuelva el dinero, pero se pone chula, llama a su marido, el propietario, y nos trata muy mal y nos vacila diciendo que sí quedaban croquetas, pero no ha querido servirnoslas. Entonces llamo a la policía local, para saber cómo proceder y éstos me informan de que cualquier establecimiento tiene que tener esas hojas a mano y al servicio del consumidor y como en este caso no es así, envían una patrulla para levantar acta de denuncia. En colgar, se lo digo al dueño y entonces saca el talonario de las hojas de reclamación, nos da un boli que no escribe, se lo decimos y dice que nos compremos uno, burlándose. Cuando por fin llega la policía, pudimos rellenar la mencionada, después de tres cuartos de hora desde que habíamos pagado la cuenta de 180,50€ por una comida pésima y un trato deplorable, negándose a darnos la hoja de reclamaciones, burlándose e insultandonos.
