Yeah this was the worst experience on my trip. In my opinion people should stay away as there are much better places around especially for this price point.

Food was awful. My partner and I both had same premade menu called ’Terral’: -First starter course was tortillas and shrimp with marinated onions and some wasabi mayo. Whole course seemed to be slammed together from cheap store ingredients. -Second starter was some kind of french fries. They were most likely frozen fries and undercooked. On top they had egg and some ham which was ok. -Third starter should’ve been lobster canneloni but they really butchered this one. Most likely just canned tuna inside a hard shell that didnt resemble canneloni at all. -Fourth starter was blooming artichokes with boletus sauce which was actually quite nice. -Fifth starter was a salad with some berries and maybe pomegranate and cheese. It’s a shame that the berries were still frozen and the cheese was also cold when this was served. Otherwise could’ve been great. -Main course was veal entrecote with potatoes and padron. This time potatoes were ok but the veal was not good. The fat and tendon were left unrendered which left half of it unedible. -As dessert there was ice cream with minibrownie which was ok. Waiter forgot to bring my coffee though…

Restaurant didnt have too many clients but the waiters were really disorganized. Both of the waiters were running around mindlessly. Older waiter seemed to be really rude. We had a big student meeting here, and while waiting for friends, I sat with others at a nearby table to chat. A waitress with brown, medium-length hair came to take my order after a few minutes. I asked her politely to wait, but she kept coming back every 2 minutes, pushing me to order even though I had asked for more time. It felt rude and uncomfortable, especially since she didn’t speak English and seemed to get more irritated each time.

After the fifth time, I agreed to order but mentioned I needed to sit at another table because I was waiting for other friends. She refused and said I had to either stay where I was and order immediately or move to the empty table and wait. I was shocked by her attitude – as a customer, I felt I should be able to sit and order as needed.

Although things eventually settled down, the waitress’s behavior really ruined the mood. She kept whispering with other staff and giving me angry looks for the rest of the time. If I knew her name, I’d suggest the management reconsider her position.

If you’re planning to visit this place with a big group and don’t mind rude service, go ahead. Otherwise, I’d recommend looking...

It is difficult when customer and staff speak different languages so I'm trying to be clear about my experience in March 2022 at La Mary. I like to understand what I am being served, how much it costs and what is included or not. I dislike that they put bread on the table and charge extra for it. I ordered the seabass which is filleted I was told. I like my food hot, maybe they serve it lukewarm in Alicante. So it wasn't hot and the Fillets had many bones and fish scales in it on a cool plate. I tried to ignore this but after trying for approximately 10 minutes to ask for another glass of wine I became upset. I had to walk over to the waiting staff to get served. My partner had finished his meal and his wine and I was left waiting for a replacement meal and the wine I asked for. The staff, during this period, ignored us, the wine arrived after my replacement meal. Nobody gave me any timeline/update/information until the food arrived. I felt abandoned as if I had done something wrong. It maybe a language issue.

The meals were OK but I will not be returning here.
