⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for Old Tiflisi Restaurante Georgiano, Alicante A taste of Georgia, served with heart and soul 🥰🤩— an unforgettable experience! From the first moment we stepped into Old Tiflisi, we felt the warmth of true Georgian hospitality. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, but what truly makes this place special is the people — especially Teo, the chef behind the incredible flavors. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite of her cooking. We started with the Khachapuri — This dish alone is worth the visit! We also had the Khinkali, handmade dumplings filled with juicy, flavorful meat — so satisfying and full of spices that instantly transport you to the mountains of Georgia. The grilled Mtsvadi-were tender and packed with smoky flavor, and the Georgian salad with walnuts brought a refreshing and unique twist with its creamy walnut dressing. Behind it all is Teo, who not only cooks with skill but with genuine love and pride for her country’s cuisine. You can feel it — this is not just food, it’s a story, a culture, and a connection. We even got to chat with her briefly — such a kind, passionate person. The service was also excellent. The team was friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the dishes and help us discover new favorites. It felt like visiting friends — everyone was smiling and happy to share a bit of Georgia with us. ✅ What made it special: Chef Teo’s incredible homemade dishes full of love and tradition Authentic Georgian flavors rarely found in Spain Warm, friendly, and attentive staff Cozy, inviting atmosphere Fair prices and generous portions
Old Tiflisi isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience. If you want to try something new, warm, and unforgettable, this is the place. Whether it’s your first time trying Georgian food or you miss the taste of home, you will leave happy and full of gratitude. 🥰❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Huge thank you to Teo and the entire team — we can’t...
Read moreEDIT: The restaurant’s response below is the perfect proof of their awful hospitality. This was not my first time eating khachapuri, I have always loved Georgian cuisine and trying to convince me that this underbaked dish was “prepared well” is an insult to their own culinary culture. We did not eat it. The other half of it can clearly be seen in the photo, on the top of my partner’s plate. Disrespecting guests and resorting to untruths is a sure way to ensure this business has a very short lifespan.
Big disappointment. The hachapuri was served underbaked, with raw dough (!!!). We asked the waitress to return it and serve us the next dish we had ordered. This is how the Tabla de Mkhaleuli looks on the menu vs in reality. Service was slow, there were only two waitresses, and they couldn’t cover multiple tables at the same time. You can get better value for the same or less money anywhere else in the area. I do not...

I can confirm I visited this restaurant and have both photos and a receipt. It’s unfortunate that the owner chose to accuse me rather than address the feedback - a response that only embarrasses the restaurant itself and discourages people from visiting.
I was very excited about this new restaurant in the area since I like Georgian food. I think that this place is well below the level of other restaurants in the area. So far the worst food I have had in Alicante and also the worst Georgian food in my life. Hachapuri was well below acceptable and the khinkali had an average taste. The pricing is definitely not in line with the quality you get. Waiting time is super long. The above mentioned two dishes took us over two hours. I wouldn’t recommend this place...
