We were a group of 4 people and wanted to order 4 portions of paella – 2 of one type and 2 of another. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t speak English and communication was very difficult. Eventually, it seemed they understood us, but we ended up receiving one large paella for 4 people, all of the same type. The food itself was tasty, no doubt about that, but our goal was to try both types of paella. Sadly, that didn’t happen. We were told that paella can only be ordered in pairs, but we expected two different kinds – one for each pair. We paid 71 euros for just one kind of dish, and we would have preferred a smaller portion of each and use the rest of the money to try more things. Read moreVery bad experience - avoid this place! We paid 80 euros for 8 prawns. Went here for lunch yesterday and the waiter asked if we liked seafood and I said we were thinking of getting the garlic prawns on the menu for 14 euros. He said they have red prawns which are a little bit more expensive but much better. I said we would order 6 and he said 8 and we said yes, assuming it would not be very expensive as it’s not a fancy restaurant and everything else on the menu was a reasonable price. We were completely RIPPED OFF and the staff showed no empathy when I expressed how unhappy I was that the waiter had upsold us.
