Las tapas no están mal de calidad pero son algo escasas de cantidad (2 albóndigas pequeñisimas) . Con los tiempos que corren y con lo que cuesta ganar el dinero, las consumiciones son algo caras (caña 3,10€ en una barra pequeña sin asiento y codo con codo con el resto de clientes), diferente sería y hasta cierto modo cobrar ese precio por una caña sentado en una terraza. Las tapas son las tradicionales de toda la vida, nada que sea muy laborioso ni carisimo ni complicado de hacer (ensaladilla rusa, arroz, carne en salsa) y por ejemplo las patatas a lo pobre una de sus tapas "estrella" no están malas pero la yema del huevo estaría mejor si no la hubiesen hecho tanto o recalentado ya que no se podía ni mojar. Por último y para colmo nos cobraron de más 5€ dándonos cuenta de vuelta a casa (esta claro que no era nuestro día) y lógicamente queremos pensar que fue un error. Por último me gustaría decirles a todos los hosteleros en general y sobre todo a los dueños de bares típicos de Almería que han cojido una moda muy fea de exigir sólo raciones, cosa que no veo del todo mal si se trata de una reserva pero al menos permitan pedir tapas y no solo una en la primera consumicion (se está perdiendo nuestra esencia y quieren acabar con el tapeo no sólo lo digo por este bar). Desde que pasó la pandemia hasta ahora todos lo hemos pasado mal económicamente y no sólo la hostelería (entre todos hemos intentado ayudarnos). El ir hoy en día a un bar varias personas y sin reserva es una tarea complicada y eso es señal de que la cosa afortunadamente funciona bien (no hay nada mas que ver como están todos los locales de hostelería, aún habiendo pasado recientemente las navidades ) y sino llamas 5 días antes no te reserva nadie. Asií que por favor cuiden sobre todo de los clientes de aquí y de toda la vida ya que el turista va y viene, hay que currárselo más y mejor. Cuando se gane menos, para cuando se ha ganado más..... Todos en nuestros trabajos hacemos sacrificios y sabemos que ganar clientes conlleva mucho tiempo y perderlos se pierden en un minuto. No se si será la última vez que vayamos pero esta vez nos han decepcionado en general y esperemos que en la próxima ocasión si la hay la cosa...

Ignore the naysayers - this is a great, family-owned, super-traditional tapa bar. I’ve been coming here for 12 years, and from the first day when I couldn’t speak a word of Spanish, they have treated me with nothing but warmth and kindness. Now I live in Almeria, I come at least once or twice a week and it’s good as ever. I suppose it depends on your expectations. if you want to be fawned over by obsequious staff and eat postmodern Michelin star dishes, this isn’t for you. But if you want an authentic tapas experience with quality homemade dishes (unlike many places) - and are prepared to make an effort - you won’t find...
