I fear this place is merely capitalising on its perfect location right in front of the Alcazaba. We visited just over a week ago having been twice before, first visit good food and reasonable service, second visit good food and poor slow service. This time, our third, although out of season as such, recently updated hours on google maps showed them as open from late morning through to midnight, we arrived at around 5pm on a Wednesday (5 of us, a half hour drive) doors all wide open and a few people eating, to be met by a man who told us that if we wanted to eat on the 1st floor (which was warmer as no doors wide open) we would need to scan the menu QR code and choose and place our entire food and drink order while standing at the counter which wasn’t ideal especially as one of our party was on crutches, severely disabled with a back condition. The server said this was because he was on his own. A few of us have problems with reading menus on smartphones and especially as the menu is not in our first language so I asked if we could have a normal printed menu hoping this would assist us in ordering more comfortably but was told no, there is only a virtual menu. We decided to leave as not confident in the service we were going to receive. He told us they would be better prepared by 8pm but we explored further and found another lovely little Morrocan restaurant, virtually empty but with staff busy cleaning etc, where we were warmly welcomed and received great food and service and had a wonderful experience at lower prices, somewhere you would not just drop on, which is why I think this place is just trading on its location, rooftop views and footfall but I personally would rather have a good dining...
Read moreDidn't like this experience. I want to say, that it was siesta time and I was hungry and needed to wait for Alcazaba opening and this was the one open place near. But anyway: I with my wife were only persons who ordered food, we were waiting for 45 or even more minutes. Also meat was burnt. Also they brought me wrong drink (I was able to get it only from the bill, because I didn't know what to expect from this menu). Also I didn't like this kitchen: food is strange, taste of Spanish dishes were not like you used to expect, drinks are not typical and taste is weird. So I was disappointed, but thanks that you are open in siesta time.
UPD for replied message: it doesn't matter wich type of the kitchen, my complaints are: waiting for 45 minutes if we are single client who ordered the food burnt meat (I don't believe that "Comida Arabe" should be with this overcooked state) and mistake with drink - I order one drik, but was provided with another one (I didn't know it, because it's "Comida Arabe" and I didn't know what to expect by drink title, was able to get it only...
