Sirtaki (Taverna Griega) — Restaurant in Altea

Sorry, I give three stars, this nót for the Food, Service ór Atmosphere, but for my humble remarks (please see below). So five* stars for the Food, Service & Atmosphere! We were outside, so on the "terraza", with a "fan" as it was too hot outside without that. Could go inside with airco, but with the fan it was very OK! Sirtaki is runned by a Bulgarian couple, both very friendly ánd service minded. Food: Delicious! Pricing: Very OK!

But yet some remarks:

In the men´s toilet there was a smell of urine. Not sufficiently cleaned ?!? I do not know, but definitively not OK. Inside the restaurant there were parked several bikes...!?! I asked the owner. His comment: The bikes are my wife´s and my children´s, we do not have another place to park these, so that´s why these bikes are inside the restaurant!! My modest opinion: Do not park such things in your restaurant. You do not put your stock in your restaurant too. There must be a kind of store room for your stock or whatever to park these bikes...?!? Ór, if not present: Park these outside (yés, ofcourse with a good lock) on the boulevard, sufficient parking for bikes there. A lot of customers come by bike and they always park their bikes on the bouleverd... That´s it. We will be back, as we do for years...

Me and my wife came to this restaurant as an invitation of a Greek friend. The location is right in frontline of the Altea bech next to PuertoDeportivo. The restaurant was full... All the food was amazing order 2 Variety grill menu with a variety of greek dishes... The Altea and Hercules menu, included Moussaka, Lamb ribs, Gyros, meatball and Chicken wide french fries as side dish, the food was delicious. As desert we got baklava and almond cake...in the end we were offer for a couple of shoots Really hapy for the experience we will repeat...

We arrived just as the restaurant opened for the evening and were quite alone in the room. You can imagine that the staff would then take it easy, but instead they put all the focus on us and gave us excellent service. At one point we were sitting and talking - in Swedish - about our poor mobile coverage and in the next moment a waiter was there and handed over a note with the restaurant's wifi-code. They paid great attention was very nice, humorous and relaxed.

Then the food came and it was also great. An excellent experience...
