Tommy Nutters Bar — Restaurant in Antigua

Popped in on Wednesday for breakfast and was really impressed with both the taste and the price. Ended up asking the lovely lady at the counter to book us in for fish and chips on Friday.

We showed up tonight and wow, we were blown away again! Coming from Birmingham and living in Stratford-upon-Avon, we thought we’d had our fair share of good fish and chips, but this place takes the place for both me and my partner. The fish was packed with flavour, the batter was lovely! and the chips were cooked perfectly.

We overheard people ordering desserts and decided to try some, especially since we found Caleta only had ice cream to offer. The chocolate fudge cake and icecream were lovely. I wish I had room to try the apple crumble!

The food and the service here are spot on. The staff are friendly, and we only wish we’d found this place earlier in the week....

What an absolute joke, waited for well over an hour with two young children and no sign of the Sunday lunch that we ordered. Plenty of people came in after us and got served and left!!!

When we arrived and ordered, were asked if we had booked which we said no... But nothing was said about having to wait for over an hour or we would have kindly declined and gone elsewhere.

And as for the snotty, unfunny comments from the hag witch behind the bar when I simply asked if they had any toilets close by (for my 4yr old daughter) Really really topped off the experience of waiting in what can only be described as a pop up toilet that you'd see at Glastonbury.

Will definitely never return to this amateurish establishment ever...

Went to The Tuesday Market and was greeted by a lady called Helen who was handing out flyers for this place, I was informed of the great home cooked food. I was sold, proper chips home made English food. Great I said we will visit tonight. Well shocked is an understatement I don't take any gratitude in writing this but homemade food, what a joke. Oven Chips bags of Frozen Scampi maybe my Steak pie was homemade but the misely portion was rubbish which was a shame as it tasted good. Come on you could do so much better at the prices I paid, I wish I never saw Helen and had gone somewhere else. Rubbish...
