We were approached by a man giving out menus for this restaurant as we entered the gardens of the Palace. We looked at the menu and decided it would be a good place for us to eat. The man from Peru was really lovely and he phoned to book ahead for us as we were a large party of 8 people. When we arrived we had a table ready and the waitresses were really attentive. The restaurant has a Hard Rock Cafe vibe going on, which I found a little oppressive as it felt cluttered with its Elvis and Blues Brothers statues and such, but that really is a me thing. Some people like that, and that's okay too 👌 We chose the menu of the day and it was completely unexpected, but in a good way! The primero plato was blooming ENORMOUS! It felt like a main meal for some of us, especially those with spaghetti dishes. I had a massive salad which was delicious. Our second plate was equally delicious and filling with a choice of ribs, fish, chicken and more. We finished with strawberries and cream or ice cream. Meals included a drink, bread and the 3 courses for €18. Bargain as we rolled out the door completely satisfied....
Read moreBest vegetable sandwich I've had in Spain! As a vegetarian this isn't the most suitable place to dine but I knew I'd find something even if it meant I ended up eating chips. They offered a range of heavenly meaty meals (which the old me would've adored!) but sadly there wasn't much for me to choose from. In the end, I decided to ask for the cookery sandwich without the jamon. While I always feel awkward asking for amendments to meals I'm so glad I did because it was incredible! I ate it too fast to take a picture! Portions are big, staff are nice and the food is great. Perfect for a hangover...
