Extremely rude and arrogant staff. I was told to get the out because i questioned the bill as thought was a bit expensive. It was loud music so ofcourse I was speaking louder than usual but also not causing any trouble and I was still ready to pay. But the minute i questioned the bill the old man threw all the drinks (2pints, and a captain morgan) down the sink and told me to get the out. Even my pregnant wife (who was 100% sober ofcourse) went up to him apologized as ofcourse we never meant any harm and he was so rude to her its unbelievable. He didnt even serve her a water. And just told her to get out also. Another man came up to her and said nothing will be served to any of us on the table so just leave basically. The staff are on a power trip thinking they can treat people whatever way they want. In the end, you have a job because customers walk in through that door. We walked down the road, plenty of bars served us with a smile. Same round of drinks did come cheaper than this place so it was actually expensive than usual. There is absolutely nothing special in this bar that you wont find in another bars down the road. If you do go, never question the bill and just pay whatever they ask you to pay.

We miss our turn to sing due to someone being outside for a cigarette. Upon coming back in we asked if we could sing next. The DJ used this as an opportunity to mock me in front of the entire bar, making it seem like I was begging for the opportunity to sing. When we didn’t get the chance to sing and we left the DJ said “don’t be like that!” Entirely unprofessional and has uniformly put us off this bar. The drinks are expensive and the card machine never works. If you want a chance to sing on karaoke and up front, professional and friendly staff visit the Swan next...

Loved the staff, just a shame that the karaoke DJ thought it was his time to shine by singing 6 songs whilst all the karaoke singers only sang one… not what karaoke is supposed to be about! Won’t be back for karaoke because of this. There are plenty of awesome karaoke DJs who allow the public to participate. Nothing worse than a failed performer running a karaoke night for this reason. We only stayed because there was one girl who was really great....
