Pros: -yummy toad in the whole with thick gravy and lots of veg (generous portion) and tasty lasagne -delicious malteser cheesecake with ice-cream -lady in there was very friendly and warm -very close to our hotel (paradise fun lifestyle) Cons: -the bloke in there could ooze more warmth and conviviality (but then our 3 kids were a bit rambunctious and we didn’t realise they only take cash so had to watch what we ordered) -it would be nice if the place was a bit more spacious and smartened up a bit In summary we enjoyed ourselves and would come again 👍

What a place, great breakfast combined with great drinks and exceptional service from the hosts John and Sandra. When you order a breakfast try a Barraquito made by Sandra they are amazing order multiples you won’t be disappointed. 5 stars all the way enjoy.

Has to be the best little bar in the area. We found this bar as we were looked for a local restaurant which happened to be next door so we called for a drink as you do, we were welcomed by a lovely lady who made us very welcome, the drinks where spot on and they had a very good selection, the food is home from home. But the best thing about this bar is the people who visit friendly nice people who make you welcome, Nice people with great attitudes no one's left out we only went in for a quick drink ended stopping for the quiz and the quiz wasent for the retired school teacher it was fun and an enjoyable experience our visit was one of the best days we have had. Will definitely be back. Thanks Shakespeare. Oh the quiz is on a Thursday but just check in...

Dear Sue, Nick and all the team, we had a great time dinning with you. The service & food was lovely. Sue made us feel so very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. All the staff made us very welcome.

The food was delicious and home made dishes & puddings went down very well. We will continue to recommend Shakespeare’s Bar as a great place to eat with the added bonus of a warm welcome & great service.
