Sama Sama — Restaurant in Arona

We had a very pleasant evening at Sama Sama. The sunset view was absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. Service was attentive and friendly, and they kindly provided a high chair for our little daughter, which we really appreciated.

We started with calamari a la romana, followed by two pizzas (Diavola and Frutti di Mare). Both were tasty, though the Frutti di Mare could have used a bit more seafood. For dessert, the brownie with ice cream was a lovely finish. The Italian white wine we had paired nicely with the meal.

Overall, we enjoyed our time here and would happily return. My only small suggestion would be to pay a bit more attention to cleaning the lamps (dust and spider webs), as it would make the great ambience feel...

The worst pasta I ever had in my life! My friend and I fancied pasta and we stop by this restaurant as it was close to our apartment . We have shared two sea food pasta’s. One was spaghetti marianna and the other one lobster tagliatelle. Lobster pasta came with spaghetti instead of tagliatelle but they have changed for us. Both pasta were so tasteless, no salt at all, tomato was raw, it looked like they just dropped the tomato sauce from can into the pasta. Both pasta were overcooked. What a disappointing dinner. Used to be a great restaurant change of owners/management and the bad comments posted here in the last year confirms what was our experience. Camenbert with grilled vegetables to share. Used to be a circle of vegetables with the camenbert in the center. This time plonked on top of small portion of vegetables with a half of tomatoe. Pizza to share which came oval shaped and burnt on the edges,tasteless and lacking ingredients. Great shame this place has gone downhill and passed its sell by date.
