After going here a few times now we thought we were going to be having more of the same the times before. What a mistake that was. I don't know what was going on. Perhaps the chef was off sick and they picked someone off that street or one of the servers was cooking. We both ordered the peppered steak. Along with a patatas bravas starter. Now previously the bravas was more than enough even to share. But this time it was served in a soup bowl. Hardly no sauce. After that we were presented with what could only be described as a disaster. The steak looked like it had been seared with a Zippo lighter. This wasn't just still mooing. Had there been grass nearby I'm sure it would have hopped off the plate for it. The "pepper" sauce... If that's what it could be called was the same white cream that I think should have been on the bravas earlier. With a couple of peppercorn seeds thrown in for authenticity. My partner likes her steak well done. But because of the fact it was smothered with the white cream it muffled the moos from the steak.
So after all that there was a woman sitting alone on the table next to us. They kept on bringing her cocktails which she never ordered. The next table they had ordered mohijos which arrived with not one leaf of mint in them. Served in one of those totem pole type glasses so you couldn't see the contents.
Suffice to say. It used to be nice there. But something has definitely changed. Which is a shame. We won't be going...
Read moreI had booked a table for 8pm, timed perfectly to see the sunset during our visit! When we arrived, I made an effort to speak to the lady in Spanish, informing her of our booking, to which she bluntly responded with ‘just tell me in English’. When I then told her in English, she pointed to our table and told us it was ‘the one over there’ rather than showing us to our table.
Our drinks order was taken, no problem with the drinks. We then ordered our food, to which we were told if we wanted starters, it would be best to have them come with the mains rather than before, as we may be waiting a long time for our mains if not due to it getting busy. We were confused at this but went with the waiters advice, however it was definitely the wrong advice!! All our food arrived in about 15 minutes and there was only one table of 2 that were sat down in the time we were there…so not sure what his concern was there! It felt like we were very rushed and unwelcome.
We have absolutely no complaints about the food though, all of our food was absolutely delicious, so HUGE compliments to the chef(s)!!! We would recommend the chicken tacos and the alfredo chicken pasta!
Our overall experience lasted 40 minutes due to the starters coming with our mains…and we ended up leaving before the sun even set!! We would visit again, because as mentioned the food was super good, but we would hope not to receive the same...
Read moreVery rude waitress. Terrible experience. My husband ordered a filé mignon and said to the waitress that he wanted canarian potatoes with mojo sauce instead of chips. The waitress said "ok" and thats it. Since we were in a hurry we asked the waitress when the food was going to arrive, the waitress very rude replied "it comes whenever it comes". He got two mojo sauces and both chips and potatoes this although he'd been very clear when ordering. When we got the receipt we saw that the waitress took extra for the mojo sauce and potatoes. We were never informed that mojo was not included and we never asked for chips since we very clearly said we WANT TO CHANGE chips for potatoes not pay for both! I told the waitress that I was disappointed and she turned her back on me and very loud spoke to the other guys working where she clearly lied about everything.
This is just not worth it. Very expensive place (two lunches with hidden costs- 71€) for very basic food you can get it cheaper and with more taste somewhere else (the filet mignon was BURNED) (!) Please stop lying, Tanya never said anything and you heard it from her afterwards not us. The meat was burnt and we surely left the burnt pieces on the plate, it is just amazing how you'd ever think a customer would lie about that. I wish you could take us serious and not be so unserious about everything when working with customers...
