What is there to say about El Pincho… I think „The best restaurant/bar along the promenade“ is not giving it justice. I‘m usually a person who enjoys trying another restaurant every day, but El Pincho was so perfect already during the first day that I actually came back for diner four days in a row. It simply got that that perfect combination of very friendly and extremely professional staff, great atmosphere, with the beach and the ocean right in front of it, great cocktail with special condiments, like great EATABLE slices of orange or lime, amazing freshly prepared Tapas and Fajitas (even vegetarians and pescatarians will not starve to death… being the latter myself) and the best thing at all is the life guitars music between 7PM and 9ish PM. The three rotating artists are all great but Jota (and the guy playing the percussions)and Ignacio are just amazing. They give you That amazing holiday feeling that you are craving while being on Tenerife. Even though Los Cristianos is very touristy, which is absolutely not my thing at all, El Pincho, with its great staff and amazing music is totally worth it...
Read moreUPDATE: Originally gave 5*. Won't be going again. Took 2friends who we hadn't seen for awhile, so talking/catching up. Looking @ the menu, the waitress came over twice. My phone went (emergency call) which I needed to take. Again, she came over & pointed to my phone, obviously she wanted to get off early (only 8.30pm). My hubby & I went again, just for drinks in the afternoon, two free table free overlooking the front, but told ( apparently she was the boss) they were only for people eating!! They were still empty when we left?! Need to be very careful how you treat people during this Pandemic, lots of other places to go to- which we do now!!!! Original review: Great to see a Spanish guitarist, instead of listening to all the usual English music- (can listen to this 24/7 @ home!) Really good food Beautiful setting,...
Read moreUsed to be our favorite place in this area (we are residents) with affordable prices and good food with amazing live music from Jota. Now the prices are crazy, and in the evening you cannot even have a burger as you need to open their evening menu which does not really have anything we like. Also to have a nice seat you need to order food, if you came only for drinks, no views for you...I hate how this Island is changing post-pandemic...it's just getting worse and worse :( Music and service is still good but not the deciding factor anymore - instead of 30-35E for two people like before we would need to spend around 50E to enjoy it nowadays...so we say No thank you so many other good places around. Just bring burgers and pizza to the evening...
