Santa Pizza 🍕 — Restaurant in Artà

I ordered a Margherita pizza, which includes basil as a key ingredient. What I was served was simply a pizza with tomato sauce and cheese. When I asked about the missing basil, the staff member casually replied: “We’re out.”

At no point was I informed that the ingredient was unavailable before the pizza was served. I only found out because I asked. I find it unacceptable to serve an incomplete dish without any prior notice or explanation, as if it were in line with what was ordered.

I paid €9.50 for a product that did not match my request, with no compensation, no price adjustment, and not even an apology. This shows a clear lack of respect for the customer and a serious absence of professionalism in...

We were in Arta for three days, two of those we visited Marcello’s for dinner. I could talk about the amazing pizzas all day (about the great dough, and perfect ingrediences) but for me, still the greatest feature was Vittorio - with his amazing welcoming smile, who remembered what we drank the first time, also that I liked a little biz of ruccola on my pizza even when not on the initial order. To sum it up, we visited a lot of places in Arta, but we never felt so welcomed like in HERE. Thank you again and regards from La Republica Checa!
