Authentic Local Charm at Ancestral Bar We had a great experience at Ancestral Bar, a cozy little spot located right next to our hotel in Barcelona. Though the few outdoor tables were already taken—clearly a popular place with locals—we were happy to find seats at the bar inside, where the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the start.

The service was truly outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. The drink selection was excellent, with a variety of choices to suit every taste. We also tried a few small dishes from their menu, all made with regional ingredients and full of flavor. Everything we had was fresh and delicious.

Worst service in Barcelona, we waited for the waiter to come for about 20 minutes, we sat at the table that was reserved in 40 minutes, finally I stood up and asked the waiter to take the order . He said the table is reserved we said that we just want two drinks and we will be gone in 10 minutes(we had 40 minutes until the next reservation ) after he will bring us drinks , but he said that no way he will bring us wine so quickly because Thera are a lot of people . Find a table, sit down, and enjoy life. We came across Ancestral walking back to our hotel and stayed for hours and hours. Time seemed to stand still as we effortlessly made our way through the beautiful selection of local beer, wine, and food. Each item on the menu felt hand selected with purpose and care making our enjoyment that much easier. Kind and attentive service from all the staff made it feel like home.
