EXCELLENT pizzas! Would come again if and when I would crave a pizza. Overall Rating: (10/10).

  1. "Barcelona" pizza - egg, ham, onion, basil - Saw this at a neighboring table who told me that it was the best one on the list and it was his second time eating it. Got it on recommendation and thought it was fantastic. Although I added garlic (powder) to it for an extra Euro which mad it taste even MORE PHENOMENAL. the added garlic was a VERY nice touch and highly suggest you to add it in. Pizza could've used a little more basil but would still rate it 10/10 (with the added garlic powder).
  2. "Bolognese" pizza - basically Bolognese (sausage sauce) with cheese on a pizza. the Bolognese was VERY good and I can see how it would make an incredible pasta dish but on a pizza... Every bite felt like something was missing. We scrapped the Bolognese on top of a Barcelona pizza sauce which made it REALLY, REALLY good. But on it's own, we would definitely suggest to add more basil, add some garlic powder, and add chunks or large slices of tomato for added texture. Overall Rating: (8/10). Note: pizza dough on both pizzas were super thin but VERY good. Fluffy, soft, and fresh. One person could finish an entire (large) pizza cause there's not much carbs (compared to an American pizza).
  3. Complimentary limoncello shots for after the meal. Was given by the waiter and took us by a pleasant surprise. It was a very nice touch. 😊 GREAT service - polite, fast past, attentive, and respectful. Spoke both Spanish and English. They have FREE, GOOD WiFi here. Couldn't find the bathrooms though... Note 2: try to get reservations if you can. If not, get here before 8pm. At around 9pm on a weekend, there will be a line out the door....

Ok, first of all, the pizza was amazing! My son had an ordinary Margherita, with extra Prosciutto de Parma on. I had a Pizza Carbonara(!). And boy, these were really the beat pizzas we've had in Barça! (Pro tip: their fresh basil is extraordinary, so make sure to order extra on the pizza!) The chilli oil condiment was for once both spicy, and tasty! Lovely food!!!

Service? Well... at best, kind of lame. When we got to the door, a guy just stood there and looked at us, then told us to "ask someone inside". Waiters were professional, not a tad more. I ordered a beer, and the waiter asked if I wanted an Italian or Spanish version of it? I told him honestly that I didn't know and asked him to tell me the differences? He.... just turned his back on me and got the two bottles, and then said "this bottle is Italian, this bottle is Spanish". Wow dude, thanks for the info... đŸ€ŠđŸŒđŸ€·đŸŒ BUT, the last guy in the restaurant was awesome! He didn't wait in us, was just generally nice and interested. If he had waited us for the entire meal, they would've gotten a lot better score....

While we were eating they were carrying empty cardboard boxes through the restaurant, so atmosphere also gets a lower score than they could've had

All in all, absolutely GREAT food, service and atmosphere could definitely have...

Don Kilo Italian Restaurant ain't just any pizza joint—it's a freaking oasis for pizza lovers. The place is like a cozy Italian getaway right in the heart of downtown. You walk in, and boom, you're hit with this aroma that screams "authentic pizza experience."Let's talk about the pies, my friend. They're like culinary masterpieces, each one packed with fresh, top-notch ingredients that explode with flavor. Whether you're a Margherita purist or you're into their wild, signature Don Kilo Supreme, you're in for a treat. The vibe in there? It's like hanging out in your Italian grandma's kitchen—warm, inviting, and full of love. The staff? Super friendly and always ready to make sure you're having a blast. And can we talk about bang for your buck? Despite serving up gourmet-level pizza, Don Kilo won't break the bank. So, you can indulge in all the cheesy goodness without worrying about your wallet taking a hit.Bottom line: if you're on a quest for killer pizza that's as affordable as it is delicious, Don Kilo Italian Restaurant is your spot. Trust me, once you've had a taste, you'll keep coming...

Disappointing seafood quality in terms of ingredients used. Very sick 3hrs after having seafood there vomiting in my hotel now. Nothing is worth being sick after having bad seafood! I ordered a special lobster seafood noodle for 32 Euro after being heavy recommended it to me by their staff. Unfortunately with seafood the quality of ingredients is everything you can’t make the food better no matter how good your chief is if your ingredients were not the best. I can tell that the chef made a good sauce, didn’t over cook or over season things, and the noodles were superb. However their raw seafood used was just not the freshest. The lobster barely had any meat on it and it’s not firm, the shellfish was just not fresh, maybe frozen mix will be my guess. The prawn and calamari could be fresher not sure but it’s not seaside fresh. So it looks good on photos but taste just disappointing. Then 3hrs later I started to become very I’ll and vomiting in my hotel room. Really nothing is worth a ruined holiday, so do not believe their hard sell by their staff!
