I simply can’t call this place just an accommodation facility. It’s so much more than that. This place is both a family and a center of attraction. The moment you walk through the door, you’ll never want to leave—and even the most emotionless person would get sentimental when it’s time to say goodbye.
I’ve always preferred staying alone in hotel rooms during my travels for years. And at 32 years old, Yeah Hostel became my very first hostel experience. And it was absolutely amazing — thanks to all the staff and their incredible service.
If you’re extremely picky or obsessive about small details, honestly, hostels may not be for you anyway. But let me say this — even with shared rooms, it was cleaner than many hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. There are large drawers with locks for your large suitcases, and even a cabin-size bag or backpack can fit in beside them. Every bed has its own reading light, plug socket, and privacy curtain — which are all lovely touches.
But to me, these are just sweet little extras. The real treasures of this hostel are its incredible staff and the social activities that bring people together.
From a price-performance perspective, it’s outstanding. You can enjoy a wonderful variety of breakfast options every morning, and in the evening, you can try traditional and delicious meals for a very fair price. After breakfast, you can join daily city tours with friendly and knowledgeable guides exploring different parts of the city.
And of course, the night tours with Mimy and Gavi will be the passionate grand finales to each of your nights in beautiful Barcelona.
Make sure to join all the activities I mentioned and enjoy the kind of priceless experiences that money just can’t buy. You’ll truly feel alive and awaken the passion inside you.

A huge thanks to all the hostel staff, and especially to Gavi, Mimy, and Ana for their kind hearts and uplifting energy, and of course to our amazing guide Pablo.
If Barcelona is on my route again, there’s only one home I’m staying in — and that’s YEAHHHHH.
Ooowww Yeah Baby!

One of the things that impressed me most was the lively and social atmosphere. The common areas were buzzing with activity, providing ample opportunities to meet fellow travelers from all corners of the globe. Whether relaxing in the comfortable lounge, enjoying a meal in the shared kitchen, or participating in the hostel's organized events, there was always a sense of camaraderie and shared experiences.
Speaking of meals, the hostel offered a surprisingly delicious and affordable dinner option. This was a lifesaver, especially after a long day of exploring the city. The menu featured a variety of local and international dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and at a very reasonable price. I particularly enjoyed their paella with lentil soup.
But the true highlight of my stay was the free walking tour offered by the hostel. This two-hour tour provided a fantastic introduction to Barcelona's rich history and iconic landmarks. The knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide shared fascinating insights and local recommendations, making the experience both informative and engaging.
For those seeking an even more immersive nightlife experience, the hostel offered an optional add-on for just 12 euros after dinner. This included entry to two bars and a club, allowing you to experience the city's vibrant nightlife scene without the hassle of planning or navigating on your own.
Finally, the shared rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While privacy is naturally limited in a shared space, the friendly atmosphere and sense of community made up for it.
Overall, my stay at Yeah Hostel was an absolute delight. It provided the perfect combination of affordability, social interaction, and convenient amenities, making it an ideal choice for young, budget-conscious travelers. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for an unforgettable and enriching experience...
Read moreAlthough this place might be one of the top hostels in BCN, I would not recommend it to any digital nomads or traveling cyclists. First all, I booked the hotel through the website but there were no confirmation page after I entered my cc. The page immediately when back to the home page and I thought it didn't go thru. I then book it thru a 3rd party, and as it turns out, I doubled booked. When I arrived, the staff said she'll try to move it to the day 2, but she said it was not her fault but was my fault.. when in fact it was nobody's fault except of how their website was poorly designed. She did move me to the 2nd day, but I just didn't like how the tone of voice of putting the fault of a customer..(would you think I book it 2nd time if I knew it went thru??). Second, during the day, I went to the eating area and saw some leftover fruits. I tried grabbing one and then I heard "What are you doing?", as I misunderstood the leftover fruits from breakfast were free. I guess being in the US we are spoiled that fruits have a limited shelf life and they go free often times. Again, no problem, but just didn't like I felt like I was being a yelled at like a kid. This tone of voice wouldn't fly in the US. Third, I am digital nomad traveling through.. the work area was adequate, but they don't allowed anyone to eat or drink there, yet the dinning hall area is hosting dinner party every night. Not to mention, you also are not allowed to eat in the room. So then... where can you eat or drink? Lastly, I travel with my carbon road bike to everywhere, and I was told I was not allowed to put my bike in the room....that's all good, but us cyclists, we live and sleep next to our bike.. it's time to pay a little more for an actual hotel. Also I don't know if this is a Spain thing or bc the amount of college kids.. in the US, staff does not talk to customers like with an authority tone of voice like we are all kids who need to...
