Disappointing Guide Ruined an Otherwise Solid Itinerary
The locations on this tour were fantastic—no complaints there. It’s a convenient way to see some of Porto’s most iconic and culturally rich spots in one sweep.
Unfortunately, the guide's demeanor made it hard to fully enjoy the tour. He came off as disinterested from the start, carrying an air of superiority that made engaging with him feel like an inconvenience. Questions were brushed off or ignored entirely, unless they came from certain people. His tone fluctuated. He was warm with some, cold and dismissive with others. By the end of the tour it was hard not to notice.
Instead of meaningful insights, we got scattered lectures about off-topic things, delivered with the energy of someone doing us a reluctant favor. The group dynamic felt unbalanced, and by the end, it was clear he couldn’t wait to wrap things up and be done with us. Maybe it was just a bad day on his part. Or maybe some people just don’t know how to treat everyone with equal respect.
Either way, I wouldn’t recommend this tour unless the company reconsiders who they put in charge of representing Porto to visitors. There are better ways to experience this beautiful city....

My sister booked 3 tickets on our recent trip to Barcelona last week.
I am writing to express our disappointment with the service provided during our recent tour booking last week.
Initially, we waited at the location provided by your office, only to discover it was incorrect. This caused us significant inconvenience, and we had to reschedule the tour for another day. However, to our dismay, on the rescheduled date, the bus driver failed to show up entirely.
This experience has been frustrating and deeply disappointing. Not only did we lose valuable time, but the lack of proper communication and service has left us feeling let down.
I request an immediate explanation of what went wrong and how you intend to address this situation. Additionally, I believe a full refund and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused would be fair in this case.
Not just us , we had a group of 30 others.also a lady in the wheelchair. Plus at this location there is no place to sit and it rained for sometime and was cold.
Needless to say the tourist guides were very very cooperative and tried to check until 930 am but even the office wasn’t answering phone calls .
We booked trip to visit costa brava, Montserrat, Girona.

Read moreToday was a lovely day for me. Our tour guide Roger was very good and knowledgeable. The day started off very well at Montserrat followed by Girona and then Costa Brava (Tossa del Mar). I made friends on the tour and I recommend the tour. Roger made sure that we were comfortable on the trip and was patient. I feel that I have learned today about Spanish history and culture.
Things look out for: Wear comfortable shoes because there was a mini hike in Montserrat. Pack snacks because it is a whole day tour. We left around 9am and only had lunch around 3.30pm. Bring enough water. Have a light jacket just in case.
Awesome things to look out for: Breath-taking scenary and a chance to escape the big city. A day of experiencing something different about Spanish culture and history. Comfortable transport. Patient and knowledgeable guide Roger.
Recommendation Bus transport should have a bathroom especially for the longer journeys. Move Costa Brava to 2nd destination and Girona as the 3rd destination. Alternatively create additional tours e.g. a) Montserrat and Girona b) Montserrat and Costa Brava c) Costa Brava and Girona.
